My name is Steve and I am an experienced and reliable dog walker, having lived all my life with and around dogs. I grew up with Jack Russells who I walked through my childhood, and then in adulthood have connected with other dogs through my friends and borrow my doggy - offering regular walks and boarding while they are away.
I have been employed for the last 20 years as a housing case worker, advising and supporting people who are rough sleeping or insecurely house. I recently left my job in order to start my own business in doggy care - walking, sitting and boarding.
As a dog lover I realise how important it is to you that your dog is well looked after and given enough attention. It was with this aim that I started Gentle Paws, where I specialise in one to one walks, and never in groups of more than three.
I currently have space to board one dog, while you are away for on holiday or business - for any duration between 1 and 14 days. Each day I will walk your dog twice, feed them their meals and administer any medication. Dog walking and boarding is my only job, so your dog will get my undivided attention and care to ensure their well-being.
Alternatively I am available to dog sit, and provide your furry friend with all the love and attention they need in your absence. Again this service includes walks, feeding and any other dog related tasks. Additionally, while dog sitting I will make sure your house is kept safe and secure while you are away.
All of this is provided at reasonable rates. I am fully ensured and can provide references.
If you would like to speak further about the services I can offer to you and your dog, I am available to speak by phone or in person. I generally advise a getting to know you walk, which I provide free of charge - so your dog can get to know me and vice versa.
