Our Daisy 💔🌈

We said goodbye to our little lady this week and even writing this, it still doesn't seem like its really happening 😔

Daisy gave us 14 of the happiest years and really was the best dog in the whole world ❤ She lit up any room with her sassyness and our home feels just that little bit empty now 💔

We are heartbroken and miss her so much already 😔💔

We've woke up to soooooo many messages this morning and thought best just to give a bit of an update ❤

Originally the plan was to be back for Halloween & Woofmas, but with this wee tiny terror taking up all hours of the day right now 🙊 Its looking more likely to be the new year before we open the shop back up ❤

We have missed you all SOOO much and can't wait to catch up in a few months ❤

Baby Barkery is here 👶🏻
A few weeks ago we welcomed these little baby paws to our team 💙
We would have loved to be open until BB made his grand entrance, but with lockdown & restrictions our plans went out the window 😔
We will be taking a few months off and will see you guys later in the year where we will be bringing back our Dugs Nuts peanut butter and Pooch Fruits Sauce faves 🥜🍇🍏🍓 and maybe some new products we had hoped to launch 😋
It's not goodbye, but see you all soon ❤

Firstly, Happy New Year to all of our wonderful customers and pups ❤
We've had a lovely phone down hibernation couple of weeks after the crazy Xmas season and feeling recharged for the next few months with baby Barkery on the way and some new things planned for the business 🐾
Covid/Lockdown has however put a spanner in the works and I'm sure like everyone else, this wasn't the new year we had envisioned and planned 😔
Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury of working from home and with our HQ being a 25 minute drive away & crossing nearly 3 council borders, it's looking like The Wee Barkery will be remaining closed until we can get more clarification from our local Council and Trading Standards on what the next steps should be 😔
As much as we would love to just carry on regardless, we feel like this would be irresponsible to do without contacting the right people for clarification first...the main priority here is to keep ourselves and our customers as safe as we can ❤
We're hoping that this will be a temporary thing 🤞🏻 and we will be back with you guys sooner rather than later ❤🐾

A big thanks to covid for rearing its ugly head at one of our busiest weeks of the year and stopping production for nearly 2 weeks 😂....but...we did it 🙌🏼

It's true what they say, when you buy from a small business we do a lil happy dance...as it makes the long hours and sleepless nights all worth it ❤ It's hard running a business as most of the time you're the maker, admin, finance, marketing, social media, sales etc, so for that support it truly means the world to us 🐾

🎄 Back to HQ we go 🎄
The ovens are on and the Dugs Nuts are roasting...the peanuts for the Dugs Nuts I mean 😋
I've been awake from 4am this morning and although I would say my body is at 85%, the show must go on ❤
I can't thank you all enough for your lovely messages over the past week...its been pretty horrendous, but you've all kept me and baby Barkery going ❤
That being said...please remember I am only 1 self employed person with 2 hands and unfortunately when something out of the ordinary does comes up ie the Rona, I dont have a team of 10 people there to pick up any work still left to do ❤
LAST ORDERS FOR XMAS ARE TOMORROW 🎄 If I manage to get through the backlog this week, I may be able to squeeze in some more xmas goodies, but for now the last day is 1st December so I can get everything baked and shipped ❤

Hay everyone,
Just a bit of an update from this/the next few weeks.
As most of you know from the post put out on Monday, I tested positive with Covid and adding this onto being 6 months pregnant...this week has been pretty rough and quite scary at how unwell I've been 😔
Hoping with another few days in bed should allow me to get back baking next week and start getting orders sent out. That being said, with losing these past 12 days, I will have to close the Xmas books alot sooner than hoped to try and get everything ready for posting WC 14th December.
LAST XMAS ORDERS: Tuesday 1st December.
BIRTHDAY/GOTCHA ORDERS: Fully booked for 2020.
WHOLESALE ORDERS: Now closed.
I will aim to get back to all messages by the end of the week ❤
