1 full minute of wonderful welshness 😍🌟
Missys first time in the school, the last couple of weeks we have been long lining and lunging to get to know each other and so I can see how she moves etc. So far so good and she is already looking super relaxed 🤩
So far
✅ relaxation
✅ forwardness
✅ responsive
✅willingness
And what we will be working on over the next couple of weeks
🐴 rhythm
🐴 straight lines
🐴 transitions
🐴 changes of rein/circles
We have had all the checks,
✅new bridle
✅new saddle
✅check up and massage by Neilson Equine
Check back in for an update in 4 weeks time, I’ll be quietly working away with her plus keeping up the fitness and canter work out hacking 🤩
It is important to work on the foundations first and foremost before asking anything from our horses, establishing the rhythm and relaxation first is so important, from then the suppleness will come into play and lots of mini lateral work in walk, hopefully then the contact will become natural and most things will fall into place 🤞🏼
If you haven’t already grab your copy of Debby Lush’ new book and see Aurora and I from 2021 feature in the front page 😜 what a long way we’ve come since then 🏆
Our dear friend Mhairi is on the front too 💙👼🏼
I have all 3 of Debbys books - all signed too!! A wealth of knowledge and everything you need to know 🐎
✨ Equiball ✨
Aurora was lucky enough to test out the new device Laura at Neilson Equine has and she was delighted!
Aurora can sometimes nip when getting massaged as she is super sensitive to tight muscles being released. This handy massage tool is ideal for the large flat muscles creating a comfortable release of tension or a gentle massage on fascia.
This tool can be used hot or cold thanks to its design so capable of some cryotherapy. Aurora was extremely relaxed while getting this treatment and did not move a muscle which indicates to me she thoroughly enjoyed it 💆🏼♀️
🌟 Special offer of £20 per session for an introduction to this new tool🌟
Pm Laura to book in 📲
I highly recommend booking yours today!
Just because this video is THE cutest!! Niall giving it his all during a pole clinic a year or so ago with myself

You’ll all have just as much fun as Niall 🤩
Testing out my 9 lives yesterday 🫣
a wee update for everyone as we’ve not been doing much lately, myself and Aurora are happy having an easy start to the season, with such a busy year last year and the horrendous weather we’ve had it’s nice to take some time to chill and just do what makes us happy!
I am settling into a new job and career so I have 0 plans for the up and coming season as of yet, we’re getting into a routine and finding out what works for us and then once the weather improves we’ll knuckle down and maybe aim for a couple of championships later in the year☺️
I’m lucky to have Laura, Neilson Equine to help keep Aurora in tip top shape with her decreased workload at the moment!
But for now we’re happy plodding along and enjoying life (I will also be galavanting off on holiday here and there☀️)
Hope everyone’s had a good weekend 🥰
En route to Kelsall Hill equestrian centre for the first weekend training at the BD foundation academy 🤩
Matchy matchy In our new gear, looking forward to a post checkup and chit chat with Laura when we’re back, all this travelling and training can take its toll so I’m thankful for Neilson Equine 😁
Last night a happy Aurora, I’d just finished a 14hour day this was the perfect end 🤩
It’s our favourite time of year when the stubble fields are cut, we have miles and miles of fields, you will find us here most of the time 🐎
Aurora apprection post 👏🏼👏🏼
(Turn up the volume)
We will have had her 4years in October and she’s helped me accomplish the dreams I had as a little girl 🥰
It’s not been an easy road, some of you know all the big bumps we’ve had, the many tears and setbacks but you just gotta keep going because it’ll all be worth it in the end 🤩
(4years into 17secs)
A slow mo appreciation post for Miss Aurora and the final centre line that got us an 8 🥰
A clip of young Indi starting some baby shoulder-in 🥰
📣 quick update ‼️
I am away this weekend so any messages will be replied to on Tuesday 😁
I have also booked last minute flights down south to see my family therefore I have no availability from the 16th - 25th May, please pop me a message if you would like a session after 25th of May and I will organise dates/times at the end of next week 😊🐎
I may have a couple of spaces left next week before I go, please message to book📲
Hope everyone has a super weekend 🥳
Finally an update on myself and aurora for you all!
(The canter work from our medium test last weekend 😊)
The last couple of weeks haven’t been the best, after recovering from tonsillitis I had my bottom wisdom tooth out … that did not go smoothly and soon became extremely infected. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep up my fluid intake well let alone eat for a week so there really hasn’t been much training for us! I can’t fault Aurora she really tries her best and I always put so much pressure on us when we’ve had 0 practice 😂
The plan for the next month is to just stay home and practice! I will aim for a couple local shows mid June but for now a break from competing and to knuckle down with training will be so beneficial 😄
Back from dressage straight out showjumping yesterday on the orange boy 😍🍑🍑 He did two flying rounds in the 80 & 90 just an unfortunate pole but still taking home some frillies!!
My reels keep getting blocked or taken down of my dressage but hopefully they’ll be up in the next couple days!😁
Swapped my dancing shoes for jumping ones today, the orange boy FLEW round the 80 & 90 courses at mundole today 🤩🍑
An unfortunate couple of poles in the 90 which you see in the video but I do not mind one bit because it was a fluent forward round 😁
He still managed to take home a couple of frillies too 🏵 🥰
A couple of snippets from yesterdays play! 🦄
We are trying some new things and it’s not always pretty but I’m getting some fantastic trot and canter work 🥰
Aurora is now super sensitive to my seat and leg I’m learning to ride quieter and more effectively, I just need to keep that powerful trot when doing all our fancy sideways stuff, it’ll come 🤩 our counter canter is stronger we can do a whole circle and more with a simple change, flying changes are coming soon👀🤞🏼
For me I also need to stop collapsing my rib cage in the half passes🤨🤔
Every session is a learning curve at the moment but I’m loving every minute.
More coming soon 😍📸
Practice practice practice but first I need to trim that mane🙄🤣
Enjoying being back on board my special mare 🥰
Let’s hope that’s our last break and we can finally enjoy a FULL season together 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Not bad for our second schooling session, roll on 2022🤍🖤
If you’re on Instagram give us a follow @j.morley_eq there’s more updates on there 🤩
A slow mo because we’re back in business 🥳 (a bit rusty but we’re back😂)
First schooling session in about 7 weeks ready to crack down with lots of training in the new year 💪🏼 (and another clip, trim, mane tidy, spruce up for Aurora! She nearly went feral🤣)
Some clips mashed together from the weekend 🤗
