My Mummy and Daddy took me for a ride in the car to Perranporth beach today and I got to run free and play with lots of Basset buddies. We had lots of treats and lots of fun chasing and being chased. I was the fastest Basset. I went in the sea. It was good fun.

I is a pub dog tonight, my Mum and Dad took me to the Horse and Groom so that they could eat their din-dins. I gave my best begging eyes and paw paw to get some snacks. Daddy gave me some of his meat.

I is in Basset nightmare mode today, my mum had the kitchen worktops fitted today and she ignored me and shut me out of the kitchen. So I decided to play with the light spools waiting for the electrician. I got scolded for that one. Then I found an unguarded box. I didn’t like the round things in the box, they tasted bitter, but it was good fun ripping the box to shreds. Mummy is trying not to laugh. I am giving her my best “Am I bothered” face.
