Hello Everyone 👋
Yes, it's been a while, but, with bird flu dragging on longer than expected and work being super busy, I decided to take a year out and run the birds down.
Now I'm back, and we've got some eggs all ready to set. First fertility test of the year 🤞🤞

Avoid straw, hay or newspaper as bedding: Mites and lice love hiding inside the 'tubes' offered by the two former and the heat and dampness from the latter, so eliminating these from the housing helps to keep the pesky pests away. Straw and hay also both harbour mites in the stalk tubes and contain dust spores, while newspaper will ‘wick’ wetness and get damp.
