Beautiful Olwyn and Ocelot, mummy and son, Ocelot is two years old and unfortunately has has too many litters in her short life…
She went through a terrible birth this time and only one kitten survived (Ocelot) She’s been a wonderful mummy to him and they can be rehomed together or separately, Ocelot would need to be rehomed with another kitten if parted with his mummy.
They are stunning pair and would love to be adopted.

New arrivals 🥰

We had a busy morning in rescue yesterday, these 7 beautiful kittens arrived.

They had been kept in crates with no bedding or toys for quite a while by a cat hoarder - who thought that she was helping 😭

My thanks to Alison Gibson, who was told about this situation and immediately persuaded the lady to give them up into rescue 👏🏼

I am equally very grateful to my wonderful fosterers who stepped up and offered to help - even though they have enough to do already 👏🏼

Seven little kittens, all under 4m, all safe now

There are more who are still in crates who we need to help and this is my mission now

Beautiful ‘Natty’ who is now Jelly was adopted recently and has certainly landed on her paws!

Her new pawrents absolutely love and adore her, she’s brought so much joy and happiness to them.
Jelly has luscious safe surroundings to enjoy and she has certainly made herself at home and is making friends slowly with resident dog Millie!

We hope Jelly has a wonderful life and if you have any lovely adoption stories we would love to hear them!

In other news…..Jelly’s boy kitten is still available for adoption and we have lots of kittens looking for new homes so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our website has all the information and policy you need on adopting kittens and adult cats.

How could we say no …..

This poor sweet girl started to deliver her kittens outside by a rubbish bin.
Luckily for her, McKenzie - a very caring member of the public took her inside to deliver the rest of her kittens ❤️

We are full to bursting but thanks to our wonderful fosterers, we found a space and I’m grateful to Sam Farley for offering to foster her.

This little lady and her five kittens are safe and warm now and she will never have to go through this again 🥰

🖨️🙏🩷 PRINTERS OF THE HARROGATE DISTRICT! 🩷🙏🖨️

We need your support! Please share! 🙏

Times are very tough with all rescues right now. Adoptions are slow, beautiful Mummy cats less than a year old are getting left behind as they are not ‘popular’ choices, and kittens that were once at a ‘popular’ age to be adopted are getting older, so they are still in foster care, taking up much needed space.

Mummy cats can get tired of their babies when they can’t ‘escape’ from them now and again. The majority of our foster Mums and kittens have a room to themselves which is essential in the early stages, but once the kittens are older, as there is no other space for them, the result can mean that some are now attacking their kittens. 😢

Our fundraising team are always looking for new ways to raise awareness, but what we are missing is information that people can take away with them from events, and we would be extremely grateful if a local printer could help support us with printing.

If our supporters can please share this post, hopefully, we can find a printer out there somewhere who would be willing to help us! 🤞

This male 4/5 month old kitten has been found in the Regent Grove area of Harrogate.

He is very friendly and trying to get into houses.

Sadly, he is not microchipped.

Does anyone know this cat?

This sweet girl has been found by a member of the public in the Bilton area this evening.

She is an older girl and microchipped to an owner in the Jennyfield area of Harrogate.

Unfortunately, none of the telephone numbers listed are connecting.

It also appears that she is unwell 😢

We are grateful to the finder who is looking after her tonight before taking her to our vets - Crab Lane Vets - in the morning.

Anyone with any information, please contact the rescue.

This young kitten has just arrived in rescue 🥰
He is another sibling to two kittens currently in foster.

Well done Alison Gibson who lay in wait night after night trying to trap this one 👏🏼

Meet Odin, who at just 9 weeks was very brave at Crab Lane Vets having his first vaccination and microchip 💪🏼

He’s a little timid lad at the moment but he will soon come round in the capable hands of Rachel Gaster Woods.

This is Bronwyn, she is one of our long term foster cats and hasn’t been seen since last night 😢

Please would everyone keep a look 👀 out for her in the Woodfield Road (end)/ Bilton Lane area of Harrogate.

Bronwyn is 2 years old, neutered and microchipped.

She may not come to you , as because of her condition, she’s wary of people.

As you can see, she has a very distinctive appearance, anyone with any sightings, please contact the rescue.

Bronwyn is a very special girl and we need her home

What can I say ….

Early this morning, quite by accident,one of our very young timid kittens escaped from a carrier whilst being taken to the car. 😭

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the pure generosity of spirit from the residents of Nydd Vale Terrace 👏🏼👏🏼 who opened their yards, lent torches and helped in any way they could.

My special thanks go to Mary and Dave and their friend Chris (from the Just Motor Group).
My baby had got wedged under their rear of their car and couldn’t get out. They helped so much.

I am also grateful to our wonderful fosterers who also came:

And Stephanie Saville, who is a force to be reckoned with - worked out where my baby was and immediately crawled under the car, Star Kit in hand. With Chris, they managed to bring my 6 week old kitten to safety 👏🏼👏🏼

5 1/2 hours later, he’s back home eating for Britain 🥰

This little soul arrived in rescue today, he was found by a caring member of the public next to his mother - who had sadly died 😢

He is about six weeks old and is receiving veterinary treatment for a virus.

Plesss would everyone near the West End Avenue/St Georges Road area of Harrogate keep a 👀 out for Paddy.

He hasn’t been seen since yesterday morning and this is unusual behaviour.

In this warm weather, he could easily have walked into someone’s shed/garage - please will everyone in the area check.

Paddy is neutered and microchipped.

Anyone with any sightings, please contact the rescue.

The costs of our vets bills with all the cats and kittens we currently have in our care is extremely high! 😣 Plus with adoptions being so slow, the ones we do have in care that would have normally been adopted by now, means a huge amount of our funds are going on food too, so every penny we raise counts! 🙏

They’re now in the company of Mojo who arrived a few days ago and he’s teaching them to be brave already 💪🏼

These two beauties arrived last night from different parts of West Yorkshire.
The little grey kitten was found wandering the streets and sadly, no owner could be found. 😢

The tabby and white kitten is the only surviving kitten from a resident dog attack, whose mumcat escaped the violence and hasn’t been seen since 😿
The owner is now in custody.

Welcome little ones and thank you Katie Audsley and Ali Edwards for offering to foster them.

Without the compassion from members of the public, the lives of all these kittens would be very different.

This year is absolutely horrendous for pregnant queens and kittens - if anyone can help, either with food/litter or financial support - we would be so grateful

❤️🙏 When a local business comes to the rescue of a local rescue! 🙏❤️ After seeing our plea for help for an extractor fan in a very well used foster room, Atlanta Wilkinson-Moore at @envirovent got in touch with us to see if they could help. We had a very tight time frame, as the room had just been re-decorated by our fabulous volunteer Stephanie, and a new Mummy and her kittens were arriving on Thursday. Despite that, and with Atlanta’s determination, the team at EnviroVent pulled out all the stops, and by Wednesday evening our new extractor fan had been fitted! Mum and her kittens are now getting used to their new environment where they will be very well taken care of by Celia and Louise. We couldn’t have brought them into the room without the fan due to ventilation problems, so we’d like to thank Atlanta and the team at EnviroVent so very much for coming to our rescue! Thank you 🙏❤️
