I am feeling sorry for myself and mum is sad. I’ve been limping for a while, got sent to a specialist vet hospital for a scan, they told mum I have bilateral elbow dysplasia. I had operations on both elbows yesterday, and now I’m not allowed to do ANYTHING🙁 I can’t even go for a wee on my own, can’t go upstairs, mum will sleep downstairs with me for a few weeks. I don’t want to play with my brother Kip and he doesn’t understand😥 Can’t even start thinking about normal walkies for 12 weeks, mum is wishing she could forward wind time☹️

I’ve been very lonely and quiet since Milo has gone, I really don’t like being on my own. But now I have a new brother, his name is Skip! I’ll probably have to teach him a thing or two, like how much fun it is to have a bark in the garden, and he’s been reminding me how to counter-surf (I forgot I used to do that!). I think we’re going to be best friends. Mum is still really sad about Milo, but I know that when she sees me playing with Skip it cheers her up ❤️

Devastating news. Yesterday afternoon, very suddenly and unexpectedly we lost Charlie’s brother Milo. They were zooming around in the garden, having a great game, when Milo collapsed and died within seconds. I did cpr for ages but couldn’t bring him back. He’d shown no signs of health problems, and was only 5. We are shocked and devastated beyond words. Poor little Charlie who looked to Milo for reassurance in everything he did is subdued and anxious. When we adopted Charlie he needed to go to a home with a dog that would give him confidence, and that’s exactly what Milo did. In return Charlie taught Milo how much fun it was to tear around the garden and play tug of war, even when Milo would have rather been having a peaceful snooze! I really don’t know how Charlie is going to cope without him. Milo was the most gentle, precious, quirky boy and we will miss him forever 💔

It’s my birthday today! My passport says I’m 2. My spotty brother tried to muscle in on my birthday photo, so I had to squash him down 😄. I’m going to have a nice walk with my friends, followed by a tasty cow’s ear, then some snoozing, some zoomies and maybe a bit of barking in the garden. Perfect!

3 months since gotcha day and Charlie is loving life! He does everything at 100 miles an hour and has earned himself a new nickname, ‘Charlie Barker’.... does anyone know where I can buy a mute button?🤣🤣🤣 He and spotty brother Milo are pretty much inseparable. He is just adorable 💕
