Did you know it's just as important to do relaxation as it is walking and training. In todays busy world alot of our dogs find it hard to unwind. So a Sunday afternoon chill out listening to Enya's Album a day without rain. One of our favourites as you can tell by the dogs dozing. xx

With more storms possible next week. This is what I am doing to prepare my two frightened friends. It's started at a low volume and worked up gradually until it becomes an everyday noise.

Please remember I won't die through missing a few walks!! I will die of heatstroke though. DO NOT drag your fur friends out in this. Most evenings it's still TOO HOT for certain breeds and larger dogs. Training brains can be just as entertaining as a sniffy walk.

Lost six lick matts in the house fire. So have now replaced them with a range of different ones they can share to stop boredom setting in. xx

This video shows the importance of calmness. Had both chimneys taken down today ready for being blocked off. I thought the dogs would go crazy but silly me realised I had instilled calmness into them and they didn't bat an eye lid not even at the men on the roof when out side in the yard. A nice chilled day. ###

***NOTICE*** due to a house fire I may be delayed in getting back to any messages or emails. Unfortunately we lost Max. I will leave you with some of mine having fun in our borrowed garden with some of my stock as their own toys are smoke damaged. They are missing Max so forgive any growls as the pack rearranges the dynamics. ###

Let's make our dogs happy this summer. With your first session only £10 when you book on for a further 2. That's £60 for 3 sessions instead of £75. Nancy is happy because she has been for a swim and pub lunch. Now on way home for a snooze in this horrid heat. Offer ends Sept 1st 22.

I thought I would share this wonderful display of Nancy asking Humphrey to stop bothering her telly watching. She uses all calm behaviours yawns, squinty eyes, lip licks, and head turn, before walking off. It great to watch. Alfie is not impressed both him and Mina have been helping with some dog training today but with that and a walk after he is tired. Mina has claimed his bed. Please Mum make her move I want to sleeeeep. xx

Sorry I have been quiet I am having new website built and been ill during the start or this year but hoping things are getting better now. Here is my lot doing their enrichment activity with Nancy for the first time. It went rather well considering Nancy has a bit of food aggression.

A quick one shot in my messy kitchen/dog room. Sorry about the washing machine. Just wanted to show you how quick a dog can learn sit. In just 3 minutes. The shorter the session the quicker they learn. If the training session is longer they loose focus. Getting frustrated?? Walk away and come back later. #k9atheartdogtraining #k9atHeartNancy

This was recorded yesterday.I was going to record another training video using bottles I had saved up to help build optimism as there are lots of new dog owners out and about with scared dogs. But the wind got the better of me. So Alfie put his assistance hat on and showed off for the camera or maybe it was just a chance to earn food, food and food.
