Place your tape measure around your dogs neck where he / she would normally wear their collar.
Ideally the collar should be a snug fit to prevent your dog slipping out of it. But it shouldn't be too tight either.
If your dog is large or medium place two fingers inside the tape measure. If your dog is small use one.
If your dogs neck is larger or smaller than the size of our off the shelf collars please message us using the contact form on he home page to discuss your requirements.

A difficult but vital subject to talk about. Pet collar strangulation is real & it is happening.
We no longer stock check chains or buckle collars. When used correctly & safely we take no exception to them but unfortunately many people are unaware of the risks associated with these products & therefore are unable to use them in the correct manner.

In February 2019 we met Lynette Smith founder of The Rydersafe Foundation. A pivotal moment.
Lynette had lost her beloved chocolate Lab Ryder to dog collar strangulation. We realised how uneducated we were at that moment & were horrified when she gave an indication of the volumes of dogs who fall victim to collar strangulation, not the handful of isolated freak tragedies we imagined. A sellers of dog collars we knew that we had to do something.
We advocate pet safety with an emphasis on the correct use of dog collars.
