WHAT IS HELPING HOUND❓ // a few years ago, I could not adopt a dog. No matter how many UK organisations I contacted, I barely even got a sniff...

🐾 I've looked after dogs all my life.
I couldn't accept that I wasn't suitable to help the dogs sitting lonely each night.

🇷🇴 Eventually, I applied for a Romanian street dog. I was really nervous. Who knows what trauma this poor dog had?
I had a million questions and still barely knew anything about him as he made the long journey west.

🐶 Luca arrived, somehow a perfect match for me, who'd been passed over many times by others.
For months we helped each other, building trust and understanding each day. He had to discover a whole new world.

🫂 One particularly rotten day, successfully turned around by Luca, I became unable to escape the thought of others like us out there who can make a difference for the other.
