Quick update for you all.

I’ll be at the Ferndown Village Fete on Saturday 17th June running a fun dog show. Everything raised goes to charity and there are events for everyone.

I’ll also be on hand to answer any questions so come out for some free advice.

Another great comment/review from a session last week.

Cookie and Gizmo were the most reactive dogs I’ve ever worked with !

Barking at dogs, people, clouds, trees you name it !

These guys were 11 years old and it was clear they just didn’t have any idea how to react or enjoy a walk.

We provided them with structure and alternative behaviours and works on technique and background changes with the owners.

The comment says it all 😊

I’m so proud of Linda and John for firstly giving these guys a new chance at life and for taking the time to improve their quality of life

I’m waiting to see if I need an operation or just a cast but at the moment I can’t drive or work till it’s a bit more protected.

I’ve moved and finally found some snow ❄️ ☃️🏔️⛷️

Unfortunately I’ve also lost my voice and picked up a chest infection 😩

I was going to announce some big things coming in 2023 but they will have to wait until I have recovered.

I’m back next week so hopefully be able to take session soon but I’m not much use in my current state.

I have a nice little work/ski trip with a long time client so I’ll be a bit slower answering messages.

I probably talk about this on every behaviour consult.

By giving your dog all their meals in a bowl you are missing a HUGE opportunity to drain mental energy.

Scatter feeding is a great way to feed your dog, but there are so many more ways to try. Get in touch if you’d like to learn more and check out the website for more helpful tips.

I use the website www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk for almost all my consultations. It’s a great tool for finding out more about what is in the food you feed your dog.

Even if you aren’t on budget it’s well worth a look.

Since coming back from our holidays we’ve been incredibly busy. Not only did we volunteer 22 hours at the Dog Surfing Championships but we’ve also had a 300% increase in enquiries.
We’ve increased the number of slots available in the week and working on being more efficient with our admin.

All on their way to be happy, healthy dogs thanks to their owners.
Working on some van designs in the background and a community project to help bring more help and support to as many dogs as possible.

Howdy dog folks,

Today we helped out at the Staffy and Stray Dog rehoming parade. Weather was pants but the dogs and people were great (this little girl was a star).

When founding Beard Meets Dog an important element was to work directly with local dog charities. Helping as many dogs as possible shouldn’t stop because there isn’t a payment to be made.

More and more dogs are being rehomed since lockdowns eased. If you have a few hours a month and want to make a real difference to a dogs life seek out your local dog charity and give them your support.
