Holidays are great…but it’s so insanely good to come home to the animal babies!!
Elvis didn’t seem to mind the ginormous black bags under my eyes nor the fog of jet lag hanging over me…
…he just wanted a snuggle (and to check my pockets for treats 🙈)!!

What a life so far Elvis!!
Left to die as a newborn, nursed to health, mauled by a dog but pulled through again…!!
Through all this, what has always shone from Elvis has been his sweet, happy nature ☀️
He has always seemed to live for the moment and rocked his stunted, perfectly imperfect little body and his special little quirks!

Whilst he didn’t seem to ‘mature’ like a normal sheep last year, we were surprised earlier this summer when he suddenly did ‘develop’!!

He has now very much made up for lost time and his testosterone has gone THROUGH THE ROOF now breeding season is in full swing!!!

Whilst it started off as mildly amusing, his behaviour has quickly begun to genuinely negatively impact both his own life and that of everybody else around him (no matter the species!)

Elvis quite literally has only one thing on his mind right now!!!🙈🙈
So…after much debating…we have finally made the decision that castration is our only viable way forward.
And tomorrow is the big day!!!

Because he can’t drink from a bucket………..
Pretends not to be able to drink from a bucket more like….the cheeky little monkey!!!

It would appear he very much can drink from a bucket…when he thinks we’re not looking that is!!

No more sulking!
Elvis has finally decided that he might actually like this new, crazy fluffy thing…!!
And even if he doesn’t, he’s realised that hanging out with the baby will still increase his chances of finding some alpaca food to steal!!!

The little one at the back is only 12 hours old…but makes Elvis look like a giant in size comparison!!!

Honestly…he’s like a toddler…I turn my back for a second and he’s gone on another adventure
(often involving the neighbours garden and a rose bush or similar 😳)
So…today I am trying to regain the upper hand!!!!
