Folks: Be careful out there when selecting a pet courier.
This company, hired by a customer in the EU, arrived at a friend's place to collect dogs to transport to the EU. Three dogs were to have been transported in the back of this vehicle - no dog crates or safety harnesses - just the back seats down and a blanket thrown in. Yes, one dog had been sick already when the other two were to have been added. Our friend was advised the dogs were to be transported only a short distance as the 'van' that was taking the dogs was only a short half hour away. When our friend asked the van to come that half hour to collect all 3 dogs, the story started unravelling. Thankfully our friend took these photos and sent them to his customer in the EU and both agreed that this was not a safe or acceptable way to transport dogs, and it certainly isn't legal! The dogs did not travel with this company.
After a quick call to us, we have made alternate travel arrangements for the dogs. We have a number of reliable couriers we use to transport dogs, when we are not able to ourselves; couriers we have worked with for many years and who are experienced, reliable and put the safety of the dogs first and foremost.
The most Luxurious element of the company below was the price. Thankfully we have also been able to save our friend's customer some money as well.
