It is really helpful to us to give accurate cost estimates if we have the measurements for dogs being transported by air. We know it is not always easy to measure a dog so your best efforts are appreciated. This is a short guide to help. Holding a wiggly dog, that's your bit! :-)
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG
A.The length of your dog from the tip of pet’s nose to their bottom or base of their tail (excluding their tail).
B. Height of the dog - measure from the ground to top of dog’s head, including the ears if the dog is prick eared. Sometimes the dog's height is greater if the dog is sitting. In this case, measure the sitting height from the ground to the top of the dog's head (or top of their pricky up ears).
C. The height of your dog's leg from ground to shoulder
Please also measure the width of your dog either across the shoulders, or the widest part of the dog if not the shoulders.
We can work in inches or cm, whichever you are best able to provide.
Thank you Susan Garrett for providing us a model dog!
