It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!
Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.
Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:
❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems
Even walking through these fields should be avoided!

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning.

They have lots of collars, leads, dog coats and dog fleeces in stock. Please support them.

A sleepy Bo after our session.
Parallel walking is a powerful training tool. Teaches good choices around other dogs, lead calmness and gets Bo her favourite reinforcers, treats and a tug toy.
Good reinforcement drove her brilliant behaviour today and helped her learning.👏👏

We caught up with Bram this week. Its not an easy job to introduce a near adult Irish Wolfhound to the world and all things in it. Not even been 12 weeks with new owners and he is really coming out of his shell.

If your dog is reluctant to sit in the mud, rain etc provide a comfy seat,,, and bingo.
Lovely sit, stay with duration and we started bringing in distance.
Alfie loved a comfy seat and learning took place..problem solved😀😀

Half term training with young handlers.
We used weave poles, low poles to walk over and Ready Steady Go game plus recall using toys to finish. Well done to everyone, great session encouraging calm confident handling and clear instructions for Teddy.
