Heartbreaking news - he did so much good 💜😭

We’re heartbroken to hear the news that the wonderful Paul O’Grady has passed away. He was a shining light for animals with an inspirational passion and drive to help them. Our thoughts are with Paul’s loved ones, his many animals and our friends at Battersea 💙

As a sweeping statement:
All walks come next Monday are cancelled, with predicted temperatures reaching upward of 35° over Sunday and into Monday. We will be in touch if we haven't already been with anyone scheduled on Monday 18th!

With the current temperatures, we are likely to make last minute changes to walks, and possibly cancel them or switch to enrichment sessions inside to keep your pups occupied.
We will not be walking in extreme heats, and we will do our utmost to assure your dogs are still stimulated and happy while in our company!
Of course, we will let you know of any changes to our scheduled ASAP!

Hi all, we've reopened again this week after our little holiday 🎉, and come back to a heat wave!
This seems the perfect time to reiterate our hot weather policies:
🐶 As it gets hotter, we will not be walking at our usual times or following our normal schedule. We will likely (on the days that allow) be starting our walks much earlier and may ask you if we can do a walk earlier. We try to give as much notice as possible, and the choice is yours whether you want the early walk or an alternative.
🐶 This means we may end up doing enrichment/home visits instead of walks during the hotter parts of the day, the duration of which will follow the same as their normal walks. We will always try to warn our customers beforehand if we plan to do this.
🐶 Our normal 24 hour cancellation period does have some extra leeway during these times, as we understand some of our clients WFH and won't need us if we can't do proper walks, however we ask you try and give us as much notice as possible so we don't turn up to your house and get turned away!
🐶 Some walks may be cut short if the weather gets too hot whilst we are already out, in which case we will let you know and adjust charges accordingly.
🐶 This also means our group walks are limited, as we won't bring other dogs into your home, and as such our avaliablity for adhoc walks is going to decrease and we will be less flexible.
🐶 We will likely not be walking during midday/early afternoon times during most of the summer months if we feel the temperature is a danger to our dogs. The majority of our work will be early morning or enrichment home pop ins to keep dogs company and break up their days.

We will always try our best to communicate any changes with you ASAP!
