We only take in limited numbers so your dog can run around with ours and will be observed at all times. We don't keep any dogs in a crates or kennels and they are inside and outside the house with us. We have a dedicated play area, grass patch for zoomies, and 'sniffers paradise' plant area with dog friendly plants for those who like exploring and discovering. I am trained in dog first aid, canin

e psychology and canine physiotherapy. I am currently getting an advanced first aid qualification and a qualification in training dogs. Puppies continue their potty and basic commands training whilst in our care. All dogs can participate in daily brain training games and scent work exercises. (Dumfries and surrounding area)
Daycare prices start from £25 per day , or £5 per hour, with a discount for additional dogs from the same household. Reductions for regulars apply too. Come to see if your furbuddy will like it, your first visit is free

The property is fully secured and under surveillance 24/7 with a live camera feed available to owners to view their dogs progress and stay for safety of mind.

Storm Ashley is causing some disruption across our area.

We are aware of reports of trees down & debris on some C' and 'U' class roads

Dumfries and Galloway Council are aware and will get to these when it is safe to do so.

If you come across a tree down or similar on your travels, call Dumfries and Galloway Council on 030 33 33 3000 and it'll be logged & passed to the roads teams across the region.

If your journey is necessary tonight then please take care. Drive to the conditions & expect roads to be affected by surface water, leaves & other debris.

Bloody hate them.
First ones of the season were set off tonight.
Legally they can only be sold in the UK from 15 October to 10 November.

You must not set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am

Make sure you are prepared.
If you have new pups try desensitising them early.
Play fireworks on you tube on a low volume and gradually increase it over days.

Every few months these consumer awards groups pop up on the local Facebook ads and our very kind customers nominate us for awards.

Unfortunately there’s very little to them.

We are contacted and asked to purchase a table or seats at awards ceremonies with £10 drinks and £100 meals where the winners are usually based not on actual diligent research but on who has spent the most money over a few years “celebrating” nominations.

And whilst we are always very grateful to our customers and Doggy Daycare Family to be nominated the best way to help us is by simply leaving a review here

As you know we have worked most weekends for the last 3 years.

In an effort to reclaim a tiny bit of sanity please find below our closed dates for 2025.

The majority are weekends with the exception of a full week in January,May (as per usual) and the last week of September into the first few days of October.

Moving forward we will only be offering boarding and overnight accommodation to our regular (weekly) daycare customers only.

We will still honour all existing bookings if you don’t fall into that category.

As you know we don’t have many free weekends to ourselves and have been burning the candle at both ends.

Please remember to pay close attention to our pinned post with our open and closed dates as we will be adding more to these in an effort to free up some time.

More than likely we won’t be on vacation but just having a nap!

What is Dumfries Doggie Daycare?

We provide a service looking after small or medium dogs during the day.

I take in a maximum of three dogs so your dog will get taken care of like I do my own. I have two young dogs of my own that get along with everyone and anyone. My preference would be as follows but this could be adapted to suit your needs: Pickup (or drop off ) early morning. Breakfast ( wet food sachets pedigree) but have an open bowl of dry food during the day ( Happy pets dry food) Walk ( weather depending usually an hours walk over lunchtime) After lunch nap School/Training time ( Tricks, Obedience or Agility) Evening meal Drop off or pickup We have a large enclosed garden and grass patch for zoomies I am trained in dog first aid and currently getting a fresher certificate You are welcome to visit me and the property to assess suitability £20 per day but price adapted if I don’t have to pick up or if you supply your own food Dumfries only Subject to a trial period Contact Sindy on 07717 443282 for any questions
