2024 - that's a wrap ✨

Firstly I hope you all had a wonderful festive period! I really enjoyed having some proper downtime and being truly present, something I will try to do more of in the new year!

This year was one of the most exciting ones for Furrify - we travelled to new locations, attended our first ever Dogfest and met so many new faces along the way! At the beginning of this year, I set 5 goals and although I didn't quite hit all of them - that's okay, because I've achieved more than I ever thought I'd be able to and I've got a sneaky feeling 2025 is going to be just as exciting!!! 🤭👀

But lastly, I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you! Whether you're a newbie or have followed us from the start; whether you're a regular customer or have yet to make a purchase and just support from the sidelines, I couldn't do any of this without you! I can't wait to show you what we've got in store for 2025!

From Friday 13th December, under the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR), all sellers of non food related products will need to ensure the new modern safety standards are met when shipping to Northern Ireland and the EU.

As a result, this will mean producing extremely detailed risk assessments, providing precise information on the production and jumping through lots of hoops for each and every product, for every single order. Small businesses will also have to designate a responsible representative located within the EU to be a point of contact for customers and regulatory bodies.

Obviously this comes with a significant increase in costs, which could be crippling for small businesses like mine and this is without the potential risk of fines and legal action if we were to get it wrong or ignore these changes and I simply cannot afford to do that!

So it is with the heaviest heart that we will have to suspend shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland with immediate effect!

You may have noticed that I've been quieter on here this week and apart from being struck down with flu, I've decided Furrify won't be taking part in Black Friday again this year and here's the reason why 👀

ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS ARE HANDMADE!! Every single item you see is handcrafted by myself, one singular person; I source all the fabrics, all the hardware, all the materials needed to make the products to the highest possible quality which means my costs are a lot greater! But you also know because of that, each item has been made with so much love, care and dedication 🫶🏼

There are also already so many wonderful discounts and offers out there from other major brands and small businesses this time of year that it makes it very difficult to compete! (PS. you can get a discount any time of year by using one of our rep's codes so who even needs Black Friday?! 🤭👀)

This Christmas, support your small business friends and share that happiness of supporting something special because I can guarantee it means more to them than you may realise and could make all the difference this festive season ✨🤍

This beautiful, rich green design is perfect for this time of year! Being based right in the heart of the Somerset countryside, we are surrounded by a lot of evergreen trees and hedgerows so this time of year when everything else starts changing colour this design really brings me back home 💚

I couldn't see out 2023 without saying a massive thank you to my reps 🫶🏼 these pups and their humans have been my biggest cheerleaders this year, especially when things have been hard (cause any small business owner will know 2023 has been a weird one) but they've always reminded me how far I've come and I wouldn't be where I am now without them!
