Mike is a gorgeous pointer cross boy who is around 5 months old and weighs 11kg. He will be a medium to large sized dog once fully grown.
He is friendly with other dogs and cats. He is currently in foster in West Sussex.
Mikey boy. Living his best life. Such a love bug (in the house!) bit more of a barkey boy out and about. Still a bit worried about bigger dogs and people doing strange things like lying down in the park! We're working on it with lots of reassurance but I guess it's also a bit of a hound thing!?❤️

M is for mouthy! This boy has a lot to say for himself. There's the pack alert throaty bark when those not in the know think something terrible is happening! The one off shout which means "I've been an idiot and got the wrong side of the fence again" and the full on alarm hound call when someone has the audacity to wear high viz or do their shoe laces up! Someone once said to us that he's just asking lots of questions❤️
I is for inquisitive. This boy loves to smell, sniff and explore everything. Nosy some might say, we say bursting with curiosity!
K is for kind, cuddly boy. Such a kind face ans good heart. He loves a puppy. So gentle with them. And he loves Nellie so much. She's the one he follows and kisses and protects.
E is for enthusiasm. In everything he does. Cuddling, hurtling, barking, throwing and catching his own ball, chasing, sleeping and especially eating.
Y is for You're the silliest, hurtliest, cuddliest, nosiest, gentle, handsomist chap and we love you very much Mikey boy. ❤️🎂🎉❤️

It's fair to say that gorgeous boy Mikey isn't a fan of visiting the vet😩 but Leishmania test came back negative🎉 so we celebrated with a very windy and cold visit to grandad's by the sea. ❤️ Mikey

Happy 1st gotcha day to our Mikey Moo. I can't believe it's been a year since this beautiful, funny, stinky, gorgeous boy hurtled into our lives. And he's been hurtling ever since🤣 All dogs are deserving of loving, happy homes but I've learned that rescues especially deserve that. Nothing makes me happier than watching my dogs come running and living their best lives. I've worried, and I've cried and I've occasionally wondered if I've done the right thing but when they look at me with such trust and love I know the privilege is all mine ❤️ love Mikey and Nellie ❤️❤️

This beautiful and loving boy is settling down nicely now (dare I say it!!) Still a busy boy, sometimes full on, and not always brilliant at listening but recall so much better. When he's running with Nellie he simply looks like he's living his best life! Feeling very grateful. Love Mikey ❤️❤️
These two beauties. With the warmer weather and so many more people in the parks it's a bit of a new test for Mikey. He doesn't really understand why people are lying around in his space so does like a bark! Hopefully he'll get used to it and begin to ignore people. Mikey's first trip on a train today to Beckenham Place Park. He was super on the train and super in the park ❤️❤️
Nearly 5 months with Mikey. He's a young lad and been a bit of a handful but today was a beautiful walk in the sunshine with Mikey and Nellie. On a new HALTI and with lots of praise and treats he walked almost perfectly by my side to the park. Almost like I'd trained him 🤣 which makes a nice change from being dragged! We had lovely off lead time ball chasing in the park and some shrubbery exploring with super recall, especially to the whistle and treats. Pretty much ignored all the other dogs which is good as he's showed a little bit of lead aggression lately. Then back through the woods on the long line. Nellie is chief hunting scout and leads him astray still! But he's great on the long line. We stopped and appreciated the knocking of the woodpeckers and the squawking parakeets.
It's not always easy but when you have a good experiences it's so important to soak it up and be thankful. I am so very thankful for my dogs every day and what they bring to our lives - even when I know he's eaten poo, 15 tissues, chases the cat and sat on his sister one too many times🤣❤️❤️ When he climbs on you for a cuddle all is forgiven 🥰🥰

Today we've practiced a bit of recall out and about and managed a lovely run with a friendly retriever called Cooper in the enclosed section. Met another Cyprus rescue too! After that excitement he's been asleep next to me for the rest of the day......until the witching hour begins 🤣 4 days in with us and he's doing so well and made e himself right at home ❤️
Foster bro has gone for his long walk so I’m playing in the garden nicely with Auntie Kiz, as I’m too little to go. I love toys and running in the garden, better than being tied on a balcony before I was rescued by the lovely rescue teams. I can stretch out my long legs.
Mike has arrived in foster today and settling in well. Does his business outside so far. Very friendly, happy, bouncy boy. Looking for his forever home 🐶🐾❤️
