Three of our kittens are leaving for their forever families this weekend.

We often get asked how we part with them when they are so adorable. It is always hard especially when we watch them being born, get excited when they first open their eyes, and watch them grow into their funny personalities.

But we know they are going into special homes where they will be the centre of the family and be loved and treasured as they should be- so that makes us happy.

It’s always hardest for our younger children and they do really miss them- so they like to get involved and make little leaving gifts for them 🥰 this includes a little blanket that my daughter rubs in the kitten room furniture so they leave with the scent of their litter mates and first home.

So bye bye to Lavender’s beautiful kittens and we know you will be adored in your new homes xx

Then and now 😻

I love getting updates from our kittens- this handsome young man is Polo, one of Pansy’s kittens from last year.

He’s settled in beautifully to his home and made best friends with their other cat too which is always lovely to see.

He is still young and has even more growing to do believe it or not as British Shorthairs are slow developers - and hasn’t he got the most beautiful face and eyes?!

In springtime this year we were absolutely honoured to attend the wedding reception of Ben and Laura, who had adopted one of our first kittens Birch.

Birch was always a very special boy, sensitive and loving and we have loved getting updates from Ben and Laura, watching him rule the roost, be thoroughly spoilt, loved and well taken care of over the years.

I asked Laura if I could share some of the photos - they were all so beautiful it was hard to choose which- but here are some of my favourites 😻
