Hello Mabel friends, yesterday I went for a walk and it was so cold my exceptionally impressive eyebrows got icicles!

Hi there Mabel friends.. guess what? I am a birthday girl and I am 5 today!!!
Such a lucky girl that dad organised frostiness for my birthday; it’s my favourite! I’m still very beautiful, as you can see, and I’m braver and braver every day.
I decided to celebrate my birthday by rolling in p**p. Life is good!! But then I had a bath and it was less good.

Hello Mabel friends! Sorry it’s been a long time since I wrote but I’ve been quite busy. I’ve been watching squizzers. Chasing squizzers. Dreaming about squizzers…. Very busy.
Oh, and my mum and dad got married finally. Hooray! I didn’t go because It was in Greece and I don’t like flying. Or cars. They’re home now and giving me extra cuddles. Apparently dad brushed up well and mum didn’t fall over. It’s good being a Mabel! Aren’t I gorgeous? Tom Hearnden

Hello there Mabel friends! Happy 3rd Gotcha day to me!!! I think we will all agree I am an amazing wonder-hound, and I’ve blossomed and grown since I found my forever family…. But mum, can you please stop those pesky pigeons making such a noise please? I don’t like it….apart from that, life is smashing!!!
[mummy edit] For anyone considering a rescue, please do. Mabel was very unsure when she arrived. With love and patience she has grown in to the most wonderful girl and improves every day. She still has moments of uncertainty but comes back from them quickly and she is brilliant, funny and loving! The reward from helping her realise her full potential is immense… so if you can offer a dog a loving home, please choose our breed: rescue. It’s so worth it!! Thank you to all of Apollo’s Angels. Hello there Mabel friends - is there anything not to love about a beautiful frosty morning?
I don’t think so. I always have a lovely roll in the frosted grass and all the sniffs seem so fresh and lovely… it’s almost as fabulous as snow.
I went home after my sunrise walk, had my brekkie and had all day snuggles on the sofa. Gosh I’m a lucky girl, aren’t I? Love Mabel Tom Hearnden PS mummy said something about no filter??

Merry, merry Christmas Mabel friends! Guess what? I’ve had a trim.
Mum said I looked like I was wearing pantaloons.… I wasn’t very happy about it yesterday.
But now I can see and I’m much lighter and I can run around like a crazy thing in the meadows. And everyone says that I look very pretty 💕

Oh, hello Mabel friends! Guess what? I went to the seaside today. I do like the seaside - so many opportunities to get really, really messy! I’m obsessed with my ball, so I was really happy that came, but I also… swam, dug and rolled in the sand and dug and rolled again. And when they thought l was all rolled out… I rolled some more. Good times 😍😍

Mum says you really don’t get the full effect of mud and general stinkiness here… which is sad, because mud and stinkiness are my favourites. But anyway, here I am, living my best life having a lovely lie down in a nice muddy ditch after my walk this morning. The mud even seeped through my jumper and I had so much fun I kept going back for more! 😍 Life really is fabulous if you’re a Mabel! 💕

It’s not the greatest photo…
but that face (she is concentrating as she was getting some tips from Dogs behaving very badly)!
And the way she’s snuggled in to dad (and I wish the crazy way she is sitting was clearer!) makes me so happy.
She’s still worried about lots of things, but every day she gets braver and now the worrisome things are less than the wonderful things.

Just doing a spot of guarding, checking that there are no naughty squirrels in the garden, whilst mum has a cuppa. I’m getting really good at it. Mum especially likes it when I’m guarding and do a big long hooooowwwwwwllll when she’s on a work call. 🤣
