It was a pleasure training this little cutie 🩷

Milo from Puppy Class.
Fantastic first week for these gorgeous puppies in class. Calm and focussed - amazing!
Loving the sunshine...little Ivy and Spencer from Puppy Classes Level 1 & 2, plus my Bella. Having fun in the park together - one of the advantages of local puppy training.
Bundles of energy and wagging tails at our recent puppy class social on Littlehampton Beach. Our next puppy class starts on April 22nd.
Still thinking about what pressie to get for your pooch this Christmas? If your dog loves balls this Hol-ee Roller ball is a winner. Soft yet durable, we've had ours for years. (We do keep it for fun together, not for chewing). It also comes in a round shape. Very importantly, even if it got stuck down a dog's throat, holes to allow breathing. Plus it's easy to spot in the grass! Happy days :)
My daughter Promise interviewed me for the Pet Businesses in Littlehampton Network. Bella isn't in the video because she is recovering from an operation.
Bella loves these chicken stock ice cubes, especially when I hide them. I make a quick (non-salty) stock by boiling the leftover bones of a roast chicken in some water with a carrot thrown in , for 20 mins. I pop them in ice cube trays - then I get 3 out to hide separately in the garden. Perfect entertainment for the middle of a hot day.
Remember puppy Red? Look at his lovely loose lead walking now! Well done to his family who have all invested in his puppy training. Thank you Kristina for sharing your video.
Bella turned 9 last week. Well roughly - her birthday is a bit of guess, but we picked a date and stuck with it! She hasn't had a football for a while so she is really enjoying this Chuckit Kick Fetch ball. Can't be popped and is nice and lightweight so if It doesn't hurt her or my plants too much if it lands in the wrong place :) Definitely one of those toys that will be kept for play with me - as it could get chewed up if I left it with her!
Sunset beach walk - great way to de-stress after a crazy day! 🐾
Wishing peace and health to you and your dogs this year.
See the PURE JOY on Bella's face?
She loves Oakcroft Meadow.
It's a decent sized field, to the north of The Littlehampton Academy - the only green space of its size within a short walking distance of my home (well it was until the road building blocked off my access by foot). Currently I have to drive there - not so good for the environment.
As a dog trainer, I believe variety of walks is important for most dogs. For humans too...my dog walks in open green spaces like this boosts my physical and mental health.
I'm also a mum with a grown up son who wants to live independently in Littlehampton. It is not easy, I know, there is a shortage of housing and that makes prices higher.
BUT...
I also want there to be green spaces for him to enjoy nature, so that he can stay healthy and happy living in this town.

Where have we been this week? Somewhere new...The Secret Dog Garden! It's a lovely new facility in Rustington created by Lisa at commonscentsenrichment.com
It gives dogs a mental and physical workout and as you can see from the waggy tail, Bella loved it!
