🐶Rehoming Post🐶

New home found ❤️

Kaiser needs a home on his own with no dogs or cats!

If anyone can help rehome the lovely Kaiser. All potential homes will be subject to a meet and greet plus a home check.

Hi I’m Kaiser,

I’m a castrated purebred German shepherd, I’m a big teddy bear and really quite affectionate. I’m 3 years old and will be 4 in May. Unfortunately my owner has become poorly and isn’t able to care for me appropriately due to that. I am a big intelligent breed so I am looking for a home that can meet my needs. Ideally I need to go to someone with experience of my breed.

Last year it was apparent that I couldn’t digest protein meat properly and it was making me lose weight so after some vet visits a new diet was found for me and now I’m thriving. I must remain on my diet so I need someone who will be able to maintain this too.

I’m good with other dogs but I really dislike cats. I have a big prey drive and love to chase wildlife (given the chance) oh and if a pigeon lands in the garden I quite like to chase those too! I am brilliant with children and love to be around them.

I love to be worked so not only ensuring I have my daily exercise - I also need mental stimulation (sniffing and finding games are my favourite) I would really benefit from something like agility but unfortunately my owner is too unwell to do this with me.

I am house trained and am happy to sleep on my bed (although I do like to get on the sofa too) playing ball is one of my favourite things to do but I love playing any games that I can.

Hi I’m Lola,

Hi everyone my name is Lola and I’m a staffie x boxer. I have the most wonderful traits of both of these breeds as in I am so affectionate. I absolutely thrive being around people and I love to get maximum attention. I am 5 years old and will be 6 in around June time- I am spayed and up to date with all vaccines. I come from a really loving home where I have a lot of time around young children. Unfortunately my owner has become quite poorly and now is struggling to meet my needs for a breed as intelligent as me, not only do I need a lot of exercise but I also need a lot of mental stimulation at home, I love playing ball - but don’t let me have a tennis ball as I will shred it, my favourite balls are the scooby doo ones from B&M. I love using a stuffed kong, licki mats and snuffle mats. In the evening I love nothing better than to snuggle with my owner on the sofa before she settles me to bed where I stay on the sofa. I am crate trained but I’m a good girl so I don’t use one unless I’m travelling in the car.

I have a big prey drive so will chase after wildlife and also cats if given the chance. So I can’t live in a home where there is a cat.

At the end of last year I did some damage to my left cruciate ligament and so I have had MMP surgery to rectify this - I am now absolutely thriving again and as long as I am not overworked then the surgery will last the rest of my lifetime. I do sometimes get a little lame in that leg but if I do a little massage helps. I don’t take any medication for this and am roughly 14/15 weeks post op now ☺️

I really need to go to a home that will take care of my breed needs, making sure you are able to provide for me else moving me homes would be pointless. My current owner sends me to daycare a few days a week to help keep me stimulated.

I just want to be in a loving environment where I can become a member of the family and not seen as just a pet. My current owner is really upset about the situation and have tried to accommodate me around their illness but they know it’s impacting on my life so feel it’s best for me to find a new home.
