WARNING - DANGEROUS DOG IN HANDFORTH AREA, ATTACKED MY DOG UNPROVOKED - PLEASE SHARE
Yesterday evening my dog was attacked unprovoked by a fawn coloured bull mastiff type dog with white markings on the junction between Bulkeley Road and Clare Avenue. The owner was a young man with no control over the dog, which escaped its lead and pinned down my dog by his throat and wouldn't let go for several mins, giving him significant wounds. It also tried to attack my other, smaller dog. PLEASE BEWARE when walking your dog in this area as things could have easily escalated and we could have one or two dead dogs on our hands. As it stands, our dog is ok after £1200 of emergency vet fees.
Also, if anyone happens to know any information about this dog or owner, please let us know and we can pass it on to the police. The incident has already been reported.
