🐾 We’re just a month away from summer, woohoo! 🥳 While it’s an exciting countdown for us humans, our furry friends might feel differently. 🙁
At Krazie Pawz, we’re committed to walking and caring for your pets no matter the weather. 🌦️ However, we do make sensible decisions based on the temperature. 🌡️
Our morning walk service will start at 7am, and we’ll also offer late evening walks from 6pm to 9pm to ensure the safety of your puppies and dogs. Please note spaces are very limited due to us offering a 1-1 service, please book in advance. 🐶
I’ve already shared more information on how we as a team can keep your fur fam safe during the summer. ☀️
If the temperature goes above 23 degrees, we’ll offer a pet check-in alternative for puppy/dog walking. This includes garden play, food/treats, water refreshment, indoor play, and care. If you don’t have a garden, we’ll provide a short walk. 🐾
Small animals will receive the same service without outdoor play, and kittens and cats will have the same option as puppies and dogs. 🐰🐱
Please remember that temperatures over 23 degrees can lead to heat stroke and burnt paws, so we’re taking extreme caution. ⚠️
We understand it’s not ideal, but we’re doing our utmost to care for your pets. To non-clients, we’ve experienced verbal abuse in the past. While we appreciate your opinions, please express them kindly, and we’ll explain the procedures we’re following. Sometimes walks can’t be missed, and please consider we also care for sick pets who need a short outing even in temperatures above 23 degrees. Some pets don’t have a garden and just need a few minutes outside. And lastly we care for pets while their owners are away, luckily a few minutes outside with the right procedures will not hurt. At the end of the day we are here to help and we want the best for our clients as well. 🥰

I hope every client had a great firework night full of sparkles! Did you know that your pet/s could be unhappy with this change in the sky? With more celebrations ahead it’s important to know how to treat your worried friend/s!
🐶: For puppies and dogs make sure to walk them early evening, getting them inside safely before dark! It’s important to detect any signs of fear, especially for first time puppies! Signs to look out for are:
Barking, digging, running, obsessive licking, crying, stillness, shaking and hiding. They may even go to the toilet where they shouldn’t! It is key to plan for the worse if it’s your puppy/s first time, below will tell you how. If you have older dog/s that has experienced these big days before and that you know is scared but still are finding it hard to treat, here is some more useful tips:
⚠️ Please provide water at all times for any pet/s you may own. Over simulating your fury friend/s can make things worse. Plan and prepare before the big night/s ahead. The calming treats that I have recommended is safe, and is safe to give regularly, they are not prescribed. All animals may act differently. Speak to a vet if you find your older pet/s are reacting and nothing is working or if your scared your newborn pet/s will react as it’s their first time. I will not give any treats unless I get permission and provided by owners and I will contact you on how our times go with the appropriate information. I will not walk your puppy/s and dog/s during late hours and will follow as requested if caring for your pet/s during fireworks. These are tips you can safely follow too!
