I just want to take this time to thank my wonderful clients for your patience and kindness over the past few months.

I’ve not felt up to working at capacity and making posts for social media of my Christmas grooms.
Ive had feelings of guilt, I’ve been overwhelmed and I didn’t feel it was appropriate.
I usually love making a big fuss and showing off my work for their Christmas portraits.
However my mind and heart has been full of grief and anxiety for Shell. Even though I’m talking about her passing and writing this down. Looking at us in photographs I can’t believe she is no longer with us 💔
This Christmas is going to be so difficult for my family and myself. Shell has left a big hole in our hearts.

Please understand that I am very grateful for your custom and supporting my small business not only through this awful period in my life but from the beginning. Thank you!

I will be raising a glass of Baileys, Shells favourite Christmas slurp on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Even though I don’t like it! I’ll eat alot of After Eight mints to wash it down.

Christmas is such a happy time for many but it’s also a very sad time for many too.
I can’t believe my complete Sherry, Marples, Churchard family Christmas’s are now memories.
Our childhood Christmas’s were very special and then when Eve arrived special again. Me, Shell and Eve have my parents to thank for that !!❤️
I hope Eve feels the same when she’s a grown up.
Thank you with all my heart mum and dad . I love you both very so much ❤️🫂

I will be taking bookings as normal from January the 6th and I will try to regain a good routine.

I am writing this notice with a very heavy heart . Unfortunately I am cancelling this week’s appointments at short notice . I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Some of you are aware that my sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and up until a few weeks ago we were feeling positive about Michelle’s treatment . However she has rapidly deteriorated due to now developing Paraneoplastic symdrome. This has left her severely disabled. I have never known anything so cruel and my heart breaks seeing her suffer.
This is very difficult for me to write. I’m not personally that open on social media. However the more women that educate themselves about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer and Paraneoplastic syndrome the better . No one should go through this, especially my sister at the tragic age of 43.
Yesterday was horrifically scary but thankfully today her condition is stable.

I am finding this so hard to manage. I think I will review my bookings on a weekly basis. I will try to keep my clients informed as much as I can.
Ashgate hospice nurses and the palliative care team are getting involved to help us care for Shell at home. I am really hoping Michelle will start to feel safer and stronger with time.

I already appreciate the kindness of people around us and feel a lot of my clients have become friends.

I will contact my bookings personally in a week. My heart is broken and I need to be with shell at this time.
