Naughty Dog Of The Week is... (drumroll, please 🥁)

Dotty (obviously!)

Dotty decided to get into the ✨spirit✨ of Spooky Season by holding a séance this week. We told her of the risks of dabbling with forces unknown, but did she listen? She’s clearly opened the door to something malevolent, with objects flying off the mantle piece and the slamming of doors. We also think her sister, Lola, has been possessed by someone calling herself ‘Linda’.

Cecil is a Good Dog veteran and you can see him in the pack week in, week out. He is always excited to see us and his pals, giving the best greetings in the morning. He loves to play and can be seen running round the garden with his friends!

On Sunday, we had our very first Good Dog Monthly Meet-Up at Fairy Hall Farm! It was a great day seeing all the usual pack members having fun, as well has having the opportunity to chat to all their lovely parents. Resident Naughty Dog, Dotty, certainly enjoyed having an extra day playing with her friends! However, we were having so much fun that we didn’t manage to get any pictures, so you’ll have to take our word for it!

Dotty has been a repeat offender this week, locking everyone out of the social media accounts once again (hence the lack of posts last week). She said we shouldn’t be able to post "Dotty slander" on the page anymore! No bribery with Butternut treats this week, Dotty got a stern talking to from her doggy friends, as they were all quite excited to see their pictures on Youtube! She eventually relinquished the passwords.

Good Dog Of The Week is... (drumroll, please 🥁)

Mia!

Mia first came into the Good Dog pack before the daycare era, when we were solely focused on behaviour. For such a brave looking girl, she was initially quite timid, with people and dogs alike, and needed some care and attention. Mia has come on leaps and bounds since then, now enjoying the company of her pals and even sneaking in a rub on the head from us all. The results are a testament to Mia’s growing confidence and bravery.

Daycare can be a great tool for socialisation and dealing with anxiety. If you think your dog needs a calm environment to help them with their social skills, with humans and dogs, then please feel free to contact us.

Walter!

Walter has been part of the Good Dog pack for a little while now. Never very far away from his snuggle blanket and always very exited to show anyone who is willing to look. Walter is an easygoing, gentle giant and settles very well, whether that is for daycare or an overnight stay.

It was grooming time for Dotty this week; naughty or not, she needs to look her best! We were quite optimistic after a relatively well-behaved bath, but all went down-hill after she started squirming around when the scissors were pulled out. Luckily for Dotty, her lovely groomer, Chloe, was on the case, to give her the best trim, despite Dotty’s efforts to resist!
