Welcome
Hi and a very warm welcome. My name is Emma, i live in Kirkby in ashfield with my partner and daughter. I have always had pets, my earliest memory of our pets is having rabbits, then when in about year 5 i won a goldfish at the school fayre. My mum was not happy as we had to go Wilko’s to get a small plastic tank. This little chap was still bopping when i was 16/17 when rehomed him at the farm where my horse was kept. I also had a hampster called Hamie who bit me on christmas when i got him and a guinea pig called Sandy. I always used to go to next door and ask to walk their dog. After these came my horse (i had been riding since i was 5) i competed at local level in show jumping.
As an adult we got Shadow our big black cat who is now 14, he was quickly followed by Rocky and Mishka our Shepherds. Mishka was only 6 months when she had to pts. Rocky was 12 when he died in 2018 he is still missed. We still have Shadow as well as a few others: Mushu crested gecko, 3 giant african land snails, Rheaghul tyre track eel, Toothless and Light Fury the axotlol’s and 6 tanks filled with tropical fish.
I have had many jobs but finally i got my dream job as a proffesional dog walker. I have worked many different breeds of dogs including Neopolitain mastiffs which my partners aunt breeds and shows at crufts. I have worked with dog aggressive dogs, people aggresive dogs and just pain in the bum dogs (my favourite type). No matter the breed, size, age i love them all and am happy to work them and try and help them.
I am a level 3 accredited dog trainer and i love what i do and would never change it (even when it’s freezing outside). I love seeing the change in the dogs and owners but mostly seeing the change in the relationship between them, knowing that i have helped them understand what issues there are and see them rebuild the bridges. Just amazing.
