What an absolute crap month of March so far. Paul got flu passed it to Eva,she's on antibiotics now and has now been throwing up since 4am. Josh has flu and I now have flu.
The last time I slept was monday night.

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌ Hemolytic Anemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

Unfortunately due to bookings being made and no one being home on arrival and cancelling whilst on site any future bookings will require a non refundable deposit of 50% on booking to secure appointment.

These appointments are costing my businesses and myself as the appointment can not be filled and I am loosing revenue.

Apologies to my regulars and the majority who do keep their appointments I hope you understand.

With lockdown due to come into force on Thursday I would like to reassure my doggy clients and their hooman parents that after seeking advice I can still attend to your appointments for your dog. As I am mobile and there is no human interaction apart from handing over your pet at a 2mtre outstretched arm length distance and all safety precautions are in place. I can go ahead.

The answer I received was as follow:
This is actually more than just pampering pooches – The well being of the dog is to be considered as non-grooming can lead to ear infections, skin problems and discomfort. Dog grooming parlours are to be closed, but mobile groomers can operate if they don’t go into your home and as long as social distancing precautions are taken.
