What a beautiful start to the day over here in Daventry.
We have been out into the fields this morning (spare hooman wasn’t too happy at the early wake up call😬) and now Kongs are in the freezer filled with yummy Lilly’s kitchen cottage pie and a chicken foot for lunch, and I’m yet again (🤦🏽‍♀️) explaining to Cody that the giant body of water in the garden is infact a pool and not a drinking bowl 🤦🏽‍♀️🐾

They smell amazing, they are so cute and cuddly, it's so easy to see why we all want one!

Not all dogs enjoy a their walk.
Whether its a fear or reactive aspect, or just an old doggo whose body isn't as agile as it used to be...
Take today off, play with your dog indoors . Fill a kong toy with lots of yummy food or scatter some food in the garden for them to sniff out.

Scrunch up some old paper and boxes and hide their favourite toy in there for them to sniff out.

Try teaching them a new trick or two

There is so much to be done with a dog indoors to burn up some mental energy in place of a walk.. give it a try..
