A Journey in Lola’s Memory: The Trip That Inspired WagIt

In 2018, Nadia and her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lola, set off on an adventure—traveling across Europe in a van. Along the way, they discovered just how dog-friendly many places were, a stark contrast to the UK, where finding truly welcoming spots for dogs was often a challenge. That journey became the inspiration for .uk , a platform designed to make it easier for dog owners to find places that truly embrace their four-legged companions.

To mark the anniversary of Lola’s passing, Nadia returned to Spain, rented a van, and revisited some of the places they had once explored together. It was a journey filled with reflection but also with new encounters—meeting countless dogs and their owners, reinforcing her belief that dogs belong at the heart of our experiences, not left behind.

Lola’s legacy lives on through WagIt, continuing to help dog owners find spaces where their companions are just as welcome as they are. ❤️🐾
