🐾🐶 Join us at It’s A Dog’s Life in St Helens for a fun and educational Puppy Socialisation and Enrichment Session on the 6th July at 10:15 am! 🐶🐾

Led by a qualified Behaviour Practitioner and IMDT Trainer, this session is designed to provide a safe environment for your puppy to meet other pups (on lead) and provide an opportunity to explore different scents, sounds, and textures, including tunnels, various floor coverings, a ball pit, sand and tyre section, and a lovely sensory area. This is a fantastic way to help build your puppy’s optimism and confidence.

*** New group weekly training classes coming soon to St Helens at It’s A Dog’s Life***

The classes are ran by our qualified and accredited Canine Behaviour Practitioner and IMDT Trainer. Weekly classes are available from August and are suitable for dogs over 6 months old.
Groups are kept small, fun and engaging with the option to work through the IMDT Partnership Grades as part of the classes.
The IMDT grades are an internationally recognised award system combining functional training and fun for dogs and their guardians.

Loved this mornings 121 training session with Sadie and her family, whose hard work is clearly paying off 🐾👏 This little lady’s focus and attention to her humans was fab, walking next to them demonstrating some great loose lead (and even no lead) walking perfectly without the use of a lure, putting all her training into practice. As for her recall, I couldn’t even distract her away calling her name and tempting her with treats as she ran back to her family when called. Perfect 👌

The lovely Roxie showing that all her mum’s hard work is paying off by deomostearing a sit whilst working with the 3d’s ..duration, distraction and distance. Plenty of distractions today; different area to explore, birds and squirrels to chase, lots of dogs and people and of course the rain, but that didn’t stop Roxie who was able to stop and focus when asked. Well done Roxie 👏🐶🐾

Fab work tonight on week 2 of the puppy course It’s A Dog’s Life. We focussed on settle, loose lead and recall foundations and built in some duration to the sit as a first step into adding the 3 d’s (duration, distance and distraction). Well done everyone 💕🐾🐶

Little Sapphire getting in her much needed daily snoozes 💤 Did you know at only 8 weeks old, puppies need about 18-22 hours of sleep a day?

Little Sapphire is too young for puppy classes yet but at this age pups can already start their training journey with our 121 puppy training, where training starts at home and we even offer pre puppy advice and support helping you to be as ready as possible for your new arrival 🐶💕
