A good day out for us and friends as Nut Wood ran at Doncaster this morning. He had a promising ride showing improvement from his last run, which was well ridden by our jockey Charlie Maggs

A lovely morning at Ainsdale beach as Nut Wood did a 2 mile gallop accompanied by Power of Power followed by a paddle in the sea 🌊

Still searching for his forever home due to time wasters and joy riders.

Nut Wood (aka Scooby) our lovely 16.1hh 5 year old ex racer gelding, who has been retrained to become a brilliant allrounder.

Since retiring from the track he has competed in serveral dressage tests, coming home with respectable marks above 61%. Scooby will hack alone and in company, all he needs is a reassuring, patient and confident rider.

He is a genuine boy with no nasty habits or vices and is brilliant with other horses.

We want Scooby to go to someone that is willing to put the time in and take him up the levels, we ask that he doesn’t go to a novice home.

We have our own transport which can be arranged if needed depending on the distance. Based in Rossendale, Lancashire.

The lovely Nut Wood

Scooby is a beautiful 16.1hh 5 year old gelding who retired from the race track in April to be a lovely all rounder. He has competed in several dressage competitions which he earned respectable marks above 61%, picking up some placings along the way.

He is the sweetest boy with no nasty habits, all he wants to do is please. He is happy to hack alone and in company, he doesn’t mind heavy traffic as long as he gains trust from his rider.

We ask that he doesn’t go to a novice home, and only those with full intentions of keeping him. He is ROR eligible and we have the details of his previous owners going back to him being a yearling.

Every minute spent with this boy has been a pleasure and there is nothing we could fault on him.

After a long spell of a good career, unfortunately the time has come for Storm Nelson to enter his retirement. He had a good last run this evening at Uttoxeter which was well ridden by Charlie Maggs. Nelson has given us some brilliant days out and some decent results along the way. Happy retirement Nelson🖤💛

Another day out for Scooby taking on his second dressage test. Proving his potential as he beat his previous score by 5% in the space of two weeks😁

Another brilliant (and long) day out for Nut Wood taking on his first show. Earned himself a fourth place in-hand which led to an invitation to the champion showcase! He was the best boy in the ridden class despite the tense atmosphere. Now it’s time to practice for another dressage next weekend😁
