What a wonderful walk this was! Lottie went into turbo mode and I know whippets are fast but my goodness! Red had so much fun running about with her 🥰 Red saw a deer and started chasing it, Lottie followed him, I shouted LEAVE and they both whipped back around and came back! Amazing stuff. Red hasn’t had his e collar on for a couple weeks now so it’s good to know he can still do all the things he learned whilst wearing it. Millie and Raven played almost the whole time and Willow got stinky muddy, screamed at everyone, got thorns caught in her hair and tried to eat fox 💩 which I had to take out her mouth almost making me throw up in the woods 😑 fkn spaniels man 😂🖤🐾

Decided to actually try Lucky with another dog today. Basically I’m trying to get smaller and smaller but the other dog needs to be obedient and unbothered by other dogs. Which Sasha is completely. Lucky actually really liked her, gave her a good sniff and didn’t mind her near him at all. The park was a little busier than normal so any time we passed people Lucky was asked to heel and then rewarded when they had passed. We passed a pug today and his breathing increased but I caught the right moment and praised him for doing nothing and rewarded it. We passed them again and he looked but nothing else changed. It’s all about little wins when you’re working with reactivity and he’s just doing amazing 🖤🐾

Took Lucky out with Red today. As a little test, he’s neutered so I know Red would ignore him and go sniff but I wanted to see if Lucky would react in any way. He didn’t, he couldn’t have cared less that Red was there. Will have just him and I tomorrow and do another wee test next week 👌🏼🖤🐾

Just action shots today 😂 another good walk. Wee Basil isn’t as keen to be held as he now knows how fun running with his pals is but needs must as he’s too little to do the duration yet. Otis is still checking in on him which is sweet. Rhea, Leya and Red had lots of fun playing, Bernie and Reggie had a good time p*eing on each others p*e 😝 Ella is beside me always and Sunny is right at the back so she can keep a watchful eye on the crazies! 🖤🐾

Had lots of fun this morning, a perfect walk I’d say. Let Kellie off lead and she was amazing. Black labs and collies are usually super fast off lead with me and this was no different. Luna still doing amazing on the long line. Buddy finally had a pal to actually swim with today with Kellie. Millie and Luna did not go in 😂 and Red and Glen just like to dip their toes in. Beautiful morning, felt just like spring 🥰🖤🐾

Thought I would give Lucky a little more of a challenge this week and walk somewhere a little busier. We’re not chasing after small dogs to test him but if we happen to see any on lead then that’s a good start. We only saw one and I asked him to heel and we walked right by them with no reaction which is great. The key to fixing reactivity is short bursts of controlled exposure and clear communication 👌🏼🖤🐾

Very wet babies today. Basil DID NOT enjoy the rain nearly as much as the snow. Whining to get up then whining to get down 😂 Otis is a trouper now and doesn’t mind. Wee Sasha was cold 😞 red would live in the water if he could, as would Bertie 😂 and Sunny will roll in grass no matter the season so she’s sound 🖤🐾

⭐️ New doggy ⭐️ this is Kellie. She is Reggie’s sister and I wasn’t sure how she’d get on as, at the client meeting, she didn’t come near me 😂 she was absolutely perfect on the walk however so must have been a wee blip. I remember back in the day bringing a new dog around Raven would have been murder but I just told her to leave Kellie and off she went happy to play with Millie so that’s great. Wee Lottie still doing great off lead, she rarely leaves my side so is the perfect dog to walk 😂 wee mollie bringing up the rear as always and Glen is my always sidekick 🖤🐾

Great walk this afternoon. Didn’t have Red’s e collar today so had squeezy cheese as I knew he would need extra for being with Reggie. He did amazing again I’m so proud of him. Reggie got a bit close some times and I just immediately praised Red and gave him some of the good stuff 🧀 I mean he had two of his birds with him 😂 so he was fine!

Blooper from today. After rewatching this I can see he missed the stone laying there but at the time I thought he’d smacked his back off it! Don’t think we’ll be swinging from trees again!
