🌈 IT’S PRIDE MONTH 🌈 we got these cute Doggie Apparel collars and leads in to celebrate this beautiful month ✨ in stock online and in our West Dulwich salon 🛍️ come in and try them on!

Today we realised that we opened the doors to our West Dulwich shop a whole 6 months ago… And I genuinely don’t know where that time has gone 🙀

I’ve been reflecting upon it this afternoon and wanted to mark the occasion with a post, because we have so much to be thankful for. Expanding a business is always a risk, and when we took that leap of faith opening our doors to the public on 7th January, we had no idea how quickly things would take off…

These past 6 months we have LOVED getting to know the regular customers who pop in for their favourites, and see our client base continue to grow. We really feel a part of the local dog community, and we are so grateful for all the wonderful reviews and recommendations that come our way 🐾 🐾

The Hound & Co team has also expanded significantly, and I am humbled to have found such brilliant people to work alongside in Vira, Sabreen, Hannah and most recently Kamila. Such great talents between them, and a fantastic team dynamic. I’ve honestly never felt so inspired in a work environment, and it’s lovely when our clients compliment them on their service, because they are so deserving 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

They say ‘Time flies when you’re having fun’ and ‘Do a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life’ - and it’s so true!! I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do what I love, working with dogs and my wonderful team, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support along the way.

I must get better at finding time to post more along the journey - it’s just been such a whirlwind adapting as we’ve grown and I really felt I haven’t had the headspace to be creative with social media. We have also been working on another exciting project behind the scenes which I’ll be able to share more about in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Been so busy the past few weeks I’ve really not got around to posting much on the grid, but felt pertinent to highlight this today with the 1 year anniversary of the war in Ukraine - a little something we are doing in store with our lovely blue and yellow stock from - 10% of all sales will be donated to UNICEF to support the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 thanks to all who have purchased a lead or collar so far, and also to those who have made a donation through us! 💙💛

💜💜 BIG NEWS 💜💜 interrupting this Sunday afternoon to say a HUGE congratulations to our lovely groomer Sabreen who competed in her first grooming competition today with a Welsh Terrier groom - placing in 3rd position out of 25 in her group! 👏🏼🏆⭐️ I’m not surprised in the slightest, as I have seen her standard of grooming on Welsh Terriers in our salon and they really are 😘👌🏼 she’s also great at all other breeds, and has had fantastic compliments from her grooming clients since she joined the team 🙌🏼 We are so proud of her for flying the Hound & Co flag today, but mostly for going beyond her comfort zone and putting her skills to the challenge. I’m sure you’ll be seeing much more from her in the competition arena, so watch this space! ✂️ 🐶 ✨ 🏆

Wishing all our lovely customers a very Merry Christmas!✨🎄💗 We were hoping to open the doors to our beautiful new store this month ahead of Christmas, but the building works have run behind schedule. It’s almost there, but we want to make sure it is absolutely perfect so we will be making some final tweaks next week before moving in - ready to welcome you all early January, which feels like a fabulous way to start a new year! ✨ Just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks to our loyal clients for their support over the years, and for all the lovely new dogs booked for January that we can’t wait to meet!
