This was myself and my Assistance Dog at the recent Fayre we did in Benfleet, Essex.

We had such an amazing time, that we are looking around and trying to find some others events to attend.

What a fabulous day at

The weather was fabulous and there was an incredibly amount of visitors too!

That you to everyone who bought something from . Myself and ziva enjoyed meeting you and your dogs. Please feel free to share a photo of your pooch on my socials!

Well done to Tracy for organising and all the volunteers helping the day go smoothly.

Ziva is now home having a well earned snooze - although she did a few during the day too. 😆

If you are local - please come along and support a brilliant event.

It is dog friendly. Please bring your own water for your dogs, keep them on lead and clear up after them. if you need poo bags - come and see me as I will have lots of spares! 😁

Life has taken over at Lola Loves and we havent been posting at all, but things have still been happening in the background with some private orders going out and we are booked in to show at a couple of craft fairs/makers markets this year.

Tried something new here at Lola Loves and made a custom harness!

I was so pleased as to how well it came out and my 'customer' seemed very happy and found it very comfy!

I'm wondering if it is worth trying different sizes and popping them on the website?

Loved seeing all the pics you sent of your gorgeous doggos in their bandanas, bow ties and collar flowers!

This weekend, Lola Loves took its first trip out since we lost our beloved Lola. We went to the RAD Assistance Dogs fun dog show in Leciester.

We trained Lola through RAD and now Ziva has nearly completed her training through them too. It was a great day with lots of money raised for this wonderful charity.

The product highlight of the day was definitely our coronation themed bow ties, flowers and bandanas.

Hey lola fans!

Little trip to the pub tonight for dinner... so Lola came too!

She always sits on her blanket, on a chair at the able whenever we go. She's like a human version of a dog! 😄🤣

Tonight though, we really noticed how much her beard has started to grow back! Looks at those prickles on her chin?!?!?!

Shes still fighting and being her awesome little self. Today she even got a little Barky at the workmen in the house AND to tell me it was 5pm and most definitely time for dinner!

She is such a special one in soooo many ways!

Yesterday we were at our first ever Christmas gift fair!

We met lots of lovely doggy owners who purchased some wonderful homemade bandanas, bow-ties and collar flowers for their pooches or family members pooches for Christmas!

It was so lovely hearing about all their gorgeous dogs as well as the 7 day old litter of puppies!!!!!!! (i've been invited round for cuddles but hubster won't let me go! Lol)

I even got an order for a matching human bow tie so they could match their pooch and what is known as Bow-Tie Thursday in their family LOL!

Lola came too and spent most of the day being cuddles by everyone! We could have sold her a few times but we all know that no-one could never afford her AND we would obviously NEVER sell her!

I do have some stock left over from the show that isn't on the website just yet - so will pop some pictures up later

Today is Assistance Dog Day!

I couldn't let this day go by without celebrating my two as well as all the other Assistance Dogs out there!

Some Assistance Dogs you may be very familiar with... Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs! Some of you may have heard of Medical Alert Assistance Dogs as well as Autism Assistance Dogs. ALL Assistance dogs regardless of what they are trained to do work hard everyday to help their owners/handlers to live as normal a life as possible. They all have the same access rights and they don't have to be a labrador to be one! 😁

My Assistance Dogs are for my mental health. My anxiety and depression is so severe that I am classed as having a disability. With the help of RAD Assistance Dogs my dogs have been trained (and continue to train) to assist me in my daily life. Without them, I wouldn't have the independence I have and I couldn't go about my daily life as I do.

Do you know what to do if you encounter an assistance dog? This handy little image below will help give you some guidance.

On a side note - Please don't be offended if you ask to stroke them and their owner/handler says no.... they are working after all! I have actually had abuse from someone because I wouldn't let them stroke my assistance dog whilst she was working! 🥺😖 you will be surprised what we go through on a daily basis with members of the public!

Happy Assistance Dog Day to Lola and Ziva and all the other awesome pooches out there supporting their owner/handlers in whatever they need to live!

And following on from her new collar, ziva is showing off some upcycled designs!

Ziva chewed through a long lead she had. Parts of it were still perfectly fine and so we cut it up and upcycled it into a shorter lead and a head collar. The head collar nose portion is lined with fleece.
