🆘 Is anyone looking to adopt a friendly male husky? 🆘

Despite having a waiting list of dogs to come in and having nowhere to put him, we would like to try and help re-home a 2 year old husky following a call from a government body asking for urgent help.

We know very little about this 2 year old boy other than he needs a loving home urgently.

He is used to children, is human friendly (comes and puts his head in your lap) but has very possibly not been socialised with other dogs due to the family dynamics.

The dog is not local but we can cross this bridge if there is an experienced husky/malamute owner/previous owner out there.

Send us a private message if interested. Homecheck and reduced adoption fee will apply.

Hoping we can help him so he doesn’t have to grow his angel wings. Thank you x

Little Buster felt the need to tell every dog to go away in not such a kind manner, particularly German Shepherds after being attacked by one… his owner sent me this photo over the weekend , Buster happily enjoying some off lead time in the company of another dog, who happens to be a German shepherd 🐾

🎅🏻🎄When it comes to the lavish christmas dinner and masses of treats, they deserve some too right? Yes! But beware that many of these foods we enjoy can be harmful to our dogs … 🎄🎅🏻

The following foods are toxic or poisonous to our dogs and should be avoided at all times, never leave these foods anywhere a dog can reach, even if they aren’t usually a counter surfer the stress of Christmas can make them a little cheeky

🍫 Chocolate
🧅 Onions, garlic, leeks, shallots
🍷Alcohol
🍬 Sweets
🍮 Christmas Pudding
🥧 Mince Pies
🥜 Macadamia Nuts

So what can we give our dogs so they can have their very own Christmas dinner? Providing your dog is healthy with no allergies they can have a SMALL amount of the following foods

🍗 Cooked Turkey/ Chicken (without the bones)
🫛 Peas
🥔 Mash Potato
🍠 Sweet potato
🥕 Carrot
🥬 Brussel Sprouts
🫛 Green Beans
🥦 Broccoli

Remember Christmas Day is just another day to our dogs and they don’t understand what all the fuss is about, they don’t need to be included in everything or spoilt with too many treats!

Almah is a extremely nervous Romanian rescue, she had never been on a walk as everything is just so scary to her!

I walked in the house to a scared pup who couldn’t have got any further into the corner of the room… here we are at the end of our session on her first ever walk, so very proud of her 🥰

🎅🏻🎄With Christmas just around the corner many of us have started planning for the big day, but what about our dogs? 🎄🎅🏻

Christmas is an exciting time full of festive fun, family, food and of course presents! However even for the most confident of dogs the increased flow of visitors, change in routine, change in environment along with all the extra excitement can be a little worrying for them.
It is important to provide a safe, quiet place for your dog to retreat too if it all gets a bit too much for them, have their favourite things waiting for them such as long last chews, snuffle mats or kongs to help keep your dog calm and comfortable.
Make sure well in advance that your dog is comfortable with this space and ensure that everyone in the household including visitors are aware that this is the dogs space and the dog is to be left alone here.

If you are worried about how your dog will cope this Christmas, drop me a DM and I’ll be happy to help ✉️

About Me

I’m Emma, Swindon born and bred and ‘Fur-Mum’ to a clever Border Collie Caydee, two crazy cats, guinea pigs and a bunny – The list never stops growing!

Many people ask me what made me want to become a dog trainer, the simple answer really, I love dogs! Growing up I was always around dogs but was never allowed a dog of my own and as I grew up I realised just how many dogs ended up in rescues for simple behavioural problems and due to pure lack of knowledge when people brought a cute puppy on a whim. This breaks my heart, I want to reduce the amount of dogs being rehomed and this is why I offer affordable prices for my training sessions rather than competitive prices to try and give every dog a chance at being that perfect family pet.

I offer 1-2-1 training sessions, 1-2-1 training walks, dog walking, pet ‘Pop-in’s’ and small animal home boarding. I have a large ever growing list of qualifications and certifications in dog training, phycology and behaviour and I am also DBS Checked, fully insured and animal first aid trained. I believe we learn something new everyday and I attend courses and events as of often as I can.

If you are looking for help please do not hesitate to contact me and we can discuss your requirements.
