We have a nice trio of young wethers that are ready to move onto a new home. They are producing really good mohair for home spinners and weavers and ideal for a small paddock or to cross graze with horses. As long as the field is well fenced (e.g stock wire) unlike dairy goats they are not great escapees and will happily graze all day.

We are putting a really strong family group together to make available and encourage the start up of another registered pedigree CAE accredited herd. And this little one will be joining our main herd next week. It is over a month since the first ones were born somhe has some catching up to do.

This year’s mothers and kids. Often we struggle with Spring grass but the rain earlier on, and the sunshine is giving much better yield. The goats are loving it. Our goats are out most of the year but always have access to a good field shelter. They much prefer to be out, but if it rains they are quick to go in.
