The person behind Poppins & Paws.
Hi, I am Jo.
My love for animals started from a very young age. Grew up with our family dogs and cats throughout my childhood and have rescued rabbits too. You will notice a spotty white and black dog in my picture, one of my best friends.. Well that is 'Santa' my parents dog.. Yes you may wonder why the name 'Santa' he was born on Christmas Day.

I always said I would build something and so I did, alongside animals I have worked with children from a very young age. All different settings with children of all different ages and abilities. I have also worked as a private nanny as well as working with individuals with complex health within a Specialist Nursing Team.
Extensive training throughout the years and hand on experience, I would say I am a pretty competent individual.
Since I started P&P Covid hit and gave me no choice but to take a full-time position on.
So I went and worked within the NHS. I currently work in Paediatrics Emergency Department and have loved every minute and still very much do. With only having to work 3days a week I am looking to do some P&P beside.
Another service I provide is in-home service and as I have a love for cleaning and organising.
All give all I do the very best of myself and wouldn't have it any other way.
The services I can provide are all of my favourite things.

Pawsitively the best service around!!

Hello .... Thought I would write a little update for you...
I am sorry I have been quite, I have started a job beside Poppins and Paws as C-19 left me with no income.
I am currently working within the NHS.
As the pandemic is starting to slow down and lock down restrictions are easing I will be looking to commence with services.
My availability won't be as flexible as I now work 3 long days, but on the other hand I have a little business buddy to help with other areas.

If your looking for pet care, babysitting & housekeeping just give me a message. Also I am NOW offering Children's Event (Birthdays, Party Bags & Sweetie sets) and Flower Crowns (pre made and offering little 1hr sessions) and also Balloon Arrangements supporting Floating Fancies and offering these in the BERKSHIRE/HAMPSHIRE areas.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank my current clients for your patience and understanding.
