'I need to tell you about Kassie - a cute filly that I went to at the end of October.
Although she's only two, her person had asked if I could come clip her to help manage her sweet-itch that she had been suffering terribly with.
When I got there, her tail was bandaged and as I asked to take it off, I couldn't have prepared myself for how bad it was. To make matters worse, Kassie then reached around and scraped another huge, bloody wound into her dock with her teeth. I still have a horrid, sick feeling when I think about it.
Kassie was so itchy that she would drag herself around the walls of her stable and once she left the field gate covered in blood from rubbing on it 😭
She'd had veterinary treatment, but it wasn't working and so the vicious cycle of itching continued.
Kassie had her clip and I told her person about a cream that I had been using on my Chester, who also had terrible sweet-itch until I learnt several ways of how to manage it.
Kassie's person bought the cream and applied it religiously. Whizz forward just 3 months when I went to clip again and Kassie has a fluffy tail!!! More importantly, she's so much more comfortable and no longer driven mad by itching!

A little goes a long way and not only provides immediate and lasting relief, it also smells absolutely divine!
