We recently received a wood pigeon that turned out to be quite injured. It has been shot through breast and was very scared and tired. We gave it food and water which it was grateful for, and treated the injury appropriately. Infection had already began to take hold of the wound but we continue to look after this bird to the best of our ability.

A little Blue tit flew Into our Great Granny’s house! We caught it and released it outside, for it to be free once again! Goodbye little birdie!

Pizza and poppy ( I didn’t mention poppy yet as I didn’t get time but she is also a pigeon) have already taken to the sky both flying of on the same day. Pizza and poppy took of from my arm, confidently now searching the skies for a new friends.

We have two more visitors, Pizza who is on the
left and Primrose who is on the right, both doing well. Pizza who crashed into a window will be set free soon but Primrose we will keep a bit longer due to being shot through the wing and having a bad injury we are treating.

Today, Samantha was successfully released back into the wild after recovering from a bad injury which was infected under her wing!

Another seagull joins us! Samantha the seagull comes and joins Suzan ( also a seagull) and they love chatting to each other!

The newest member of the family! Suzan the seagull is happily splashing in the paddling pool! What a happy bird 😁
