So Iv been working on a little something 😅

Feeling incredibly proud of myself but also very nervous!!

I feel like it’s the right time to make big changes in all aspects of training.

Due to the recent rise in dog illness

Until it fizzles out think does my dog really need to go meet his mates down the park at the weekend when he will see them at daycare.

Walk them as normal but you could use this as your training! And remember to wash paws, mouth & belly off.

I pride myself in keeping the house disinfected & clean daily as well as the dogs always being washed off after walks.

If your dog is lethargic or just not right please keep them off!
If someone brings a poorly dog in here your not only putting his mates at risk your putting my dogs & puppies at risk too.

If my dogs are Ill I’m not able to work so the domino effect is massive.

Please watch them 💩 in the morning before sending them over if it’s not normal keep them off! What may look not too obvious to your dog could potentially be very serious to a younger dog with less immunity.

So far everyone is fit & healthy 🤩

And remember if your due your kennel cough vaccination they must NOT come for 14 days.

Your vet will not tell you this!!

I don’t believe anyone does but anyone using a dog Walker or any other daycare during this time please choose exactly who your dog will be cared for by as I won’t have dogs being mixed in here that have been mixing from any other boarding or walking establishment.

It’s been a busy weekend training dogs 🤩 one lucky pup even got a pony ride to show him that livestock really aren’t so bad after all 🥳

Thanks to the guys in morpeth for patience when we used you (some unknowingly) for helping to train little Ted(border terrier) with his reactivity 😊

He bossed it and even took a trip to pets at home!!!

Ruby the little cocker spaniel had a nerve racking start but soon got into the swing of things finding confidence around other dogs!
She even managed some group walks and a little part of her wanted to join in with the zoomies 🥳

Arlo the border collie learned to switch off inside the home and realised how nice sleep can be! We did lots of work with windows & doors to help him to take a step back when it comes to his alertness and hyperactive behaviour regarding people outside his home!

Everyone has homework and I will be checking up this week to see if they can continue to be amazing 🤩

Ruby is calming down 🥳

She pulls on the lead Lunging towards other dogs as she just wants to play with everyone.

She jumps up and is all around a little goofy 🤪
Personal space isn’t really Ruby’s strong point but slowly she is learning to be calm and collected in company ⭐️

Buddy suffers from separation anxiety!

Any one who knows me and have worked with me knows that these aren’t my favourite two words! I like to ref-raze it as your dog needs some structure in the house hold.

Buddy has managed very well to pull this card & now the family can’t leave him for very long as he barks & howls until they return.

Today has been spent giving him some simple house rules.
Buddy has now been left numerous times throughout the day and each time I return the noise has gotten less! The final time I came back and he was asleep 🙌⭐️

He does have a nervous/grumpy side to him with strangers. But once the family get him under control at home them problems will become less & hopefully disappear as quickly as they started.

Well done little dude you really have turned yourself around in such a short space of time ⭐️

Training for temptation 🍴

Nelly is a bench surfer back at home. She will try and help herself to anything she can get her teeth into!

This training is simple yet effective, this shows her regardless of what’s on a plate or in a dish unless it’s given to her she must control herself!

Mission complete ⭐️

This will need repeated at home for a few days until she gets the hang of it.

We had 4 in for training this weekend 🌟

Here we have Lexi & Alfie

Lexi has a massive issue with barking! Or should we say *had 💪

Alfi was just a 10 month old ASBO with absolutely no manners whatsoever and has gone home a new dog 🎉

We had a 11 year old Jack Russell scout!
She was aggressive when owners where leaving the house!

Bear 10 month old GSD who needed some human socialisation. A weekend of confidence boosting for him. One that myself enjoyed too! Who doesn’t like a trip into morpeth for cheese pasty’s & coffee 😉

New buttons for all 4 have been re set!

owners just need to continue to fine tune them.

I have two spaniels, Dodger and Cassie. They are the most loving and friendly dogs ever but Dodger’s recall was horrendous and trying to walk them both on a lead was impossible especially with a 6 month old baby in the pram.

I was very sceptical regarding the training, simply because I work with dogs and I have tried every trick in the book!

But I can honestly say I am lost for words which is a very rare occasion…

Their walking on a lead is absolutely incredible! Walking side by side, loose leads and in line with me. It is such a pleasure to walk them now and it is no longer a choir.

Dodger’s recall is just exceptional, he is like a different dog. He heals without a lead until I give him the go ahead and even then he is always looking back at me and then as soon as he hears his whistle he comes straight back and walks to heal again. He used to think this was a game and it used to take ages to get him back, especially if he seen a bird! He is sitting as soon as I ask to put his lead on, I used to have to trick or bribe him to get his lead on!

They are both sitting and waiting to be fed and to be let out for the toilet. They both wait for their command to go instead of nearly knocking me off my feet!

I can’t recommend the training enough and it’s safe to say I won’t be using anyone else! Thank you so so much Lyndsey… You’re amazing!

It’s going to be warm tomorrow so training dogs to be in between 7 am & 9.30 so I can get the bulk of the lead manners done first thing. Then I can focus on house manners until afternoon if it’s too hot to walk 🤩

Barney has gone home and showing how well mannered he is on walks!

Katie has just been an absolute star ⭐️ just done a walk with mum and dad with her off the lead and she’s met about 10 dogs and been spot on!

Rudy has been a delight to have stay! He’s proved he can now walk past dogs without looking & sounding like Tyson fury in the ring 🤩
