Wagging Wanders isn't just here for the lovely dogs. We aslo care and help look after the smaller animals.

Here are three of the smaller fur babies that I am looking after for the next two weeks.

The customer wanted just two 15 minute call ins a day to make sure that food and fresh water is available. Cleaning of the cat litter and a little interaction.
Customers knowing their fur babies are safe and happy while they enjoy their family summer break 🐈🐇

This morning was this little one's first walk with Wagging Wanders after the initial meet.

She was such a little angel and enjoyed a good walk. Returning back to her owner a happy pooch and ready for a nap 🐕.
Looking forward to our further morning walks together.

Don't forget Wagging Wanders is here to help with any of your pet care needs.
All services we provide are listed under the services section.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather ☀️
Please remember to keep an eye on all your pets during this heat especially the flat faced breeds.
There are lots of ways to keep your dogs cool in this weather. Wet towels, cooling jackets, frozen fruit, dog icepops, placing ice cubes in their water and cooling mats are just a few examples.
Don't let your dogs chew cooling mats. They're filled with materials that swell like the contents of what's in baby nappies. If digested it can cause serious damage/harm which can prove fatal.

Enjoy the next sunny days 😎

We've been a little quiet so a little update was needing. I hope you're all managing and also helping our fur babies cope with the heat 🌞🌡

We liked to share that the household of Wagging Wanders have had a busy few weeks inbetween the unfortunate trip to hospital. However, during all this, we welcomed a new fur baby to our household 😁

Everyone welcome to our beautiful little boy "Blue". He's a buddle of fun and comes with a smelly bum but we are smitten. His character is just the best👍and he's just pure cuteness 😍

The next few weeks will be time spent on him and my children whilst I recover.
Then onwards and upwards reopening the bookings from the 15th August 😊

Due to unforeseen circumstances this weekend which lead to an hospital trip resulting in emergency abdominal surgery for Appendicitis.

Wagging Wanders Walking is unable to offer and provide any services over the next coming weeks.
Hoping to take on bookings from Monday 15th August depending upon the recovery progress.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I thought I'd do a little introduction and share the face of the person behind it all.

My name is Cassey. I am originally from Telford and lived here most of my adult life. I'm a outgoing, socialable person. I thrive off family, friends and enjoy the natural beauty of the world.
I'm a mother to three boys, a fiance to my partner and we all share our lives together with our beloved cat "Bella" 🐱.
We did share our lives with our beloved family member "Tess" (Rottiweiler) 🐕 but unfortunately we had to say our goodbyes to her last November. This broke all out hearts and a piece of mine will always be missing 💔.

However, this heartbreaking situation brought some clarification that working with animals is the future career path I want to follow.

This is where Wagging Wanders Walking and Pet Services came from. This is just the start of the career. There are big plans and future goals of where I want this business to go and achieve.

My heart, soul, love and passion have and will continue to go into this business. Which in turn won't feel like a job to me but a sense of enjoyment of what I so miss and love to do. Who can call it a job, taking care of the most beautiful, loyal creatures on earth and getting to walk around the world's natural beauty🌻🌳🍁🏞 😍.

Hopefully, this little (not little) introduction gives you an insight of the person you'll be dealing with and who will be looking after your beloved pets (family members).

Just a little share.
Remember to keep a closer eye on our fur babies with the gorgeous weather we're due to expect in the next coming days 🐕🐈☀️

With the warmer weather ahead, owners should be mindful of the signs of heatstroke. 🌡️ Heatstroke is a serious illness that develops when a dog gets too hot and is unable to lower its temperature. Left untreated, heatstroke can lead to seizures, organ failure and even death.

Any dog can develop heatstroke, but overweight, young, elderly, flat-faced, giant-breed, and thick-coated dogs are particularly at risk, even from just sitting out in hot weather.

Some of the most common triggers for heatstroke include:
🥵 Overheating during exercise - accounts for 74% of cases
☀️ Being outside in hot weather (even just sitting still) - accounts for 12.9% of cases
🚘♨️ Being trapped in a hot car - accounts for 5.2% of cases

See advice from our vets on what you can do to help prevent or provide first aid for heatstroke: http://pdsa.me/hpSh

🧊 Please note that ice cubes are perfectly safe for dogs to use as a treat to cool down on a hot day. It is when a dog is suffering from heatstroke that the drastic change in temperature from the ice can cause shock, and therefore should be avoided. A dog’s normal body temperature is around 38.6°C (101.5°F).
