5yo fully registered Clydesdale mare. Sire is Dillars Ollie, dam Ryecroft Josie (by Dillars Leader). Stands approx 17.2hh.

Was professionally backed March-April, mainly hacked in walk and trot. She has since only been ridden once due to owners lack of time. She also lunges and long reins.

She has a beautiful temperament and is a very attractive mare. She loves a cuddle and fuss. Shes vaccinated for tetanus, up to date with farrier and worming, and had her teeth done in February.

She has previously been tricky to catch, but she’s turned out with her headcollar on and owners no longer have any issues. Used to take a bucket of food which worked. She leads well.

She’s typically barn kept in winter with other horses, and turned out 24/7 in summer. Usually bottom of the herd. Shes good for the vet and farrier (owners are vet and farrier!). She loads and travels well alone or in company.

She bred a foal in 2023 and was a fantastic mother, so would equally make a good broodmare.

Based in Scotland, open to vet and viewing. Transport can be arranged.

Some of you will remember little Pops, so you’ll remember just how terrified of people she was when she came to us. We put in an awful lot of work to get her handled and start trusting people more. It’s so heartwarming to be sent updates like this of her just generally enjoying human company! It’s even better to see her trotting over to her new humans across a huge field with no headcollar on, wanting to come in, wanting to be loved! 🥰

The beautiful Swan left for her new home today!🦢 She’s going to a really wonderful place to take part in health and wellbeing courses, and will go on to do some competing with one of the yard girls too!🫶🏼 Really looking forward to watching this filly flourish in her new home🦄

Stonehill Equitherapy and Rehabilitation

Run by Katie Butters Cert ESMT.

I am a fully qualified and insured equine sports massage therapist (ESMT) with a veterinary background. I also hold a Reiki certificate. Along with my certificates I hold a level 3 diploma in Equine Management.

Along with offering sports massage and reiki, I am happy to help with groundwork with any age of horse or pony. Including long reining, driving, lunging and pole work. I’m also happy to carry out tack checks and assess horses under saddle.

I own 2 shire horses, a yearling and a 4 year old, both which I show up and down the country. I have recently backed my 4 year old to ride and drive myself, so have experience working with green horses.
