Wee Phillipe!🖤
Lovely Phillip is a sensitive soul and needs a little hoof holding while clipping. He’s a very good boy and would never lash out, but he does panic if you move too quickly or make a loud noise (which if you know me… well, you know😂).
A twitch needed for his face and tickly bits but other than that he was over and done with in an hour💪🏼
Sweet boy 🖤 and his lovely owner has offered me a ride on him next time! Watch this space👀

Oh Florence 😍🖤
Flo had the full makeover yesterday with a full clip AND show prep! What a stunning girl she is when you can actually see her through all the hair 😂
Flo is one of my easiest clients, albeit one of my youngest clients! She is fantastic, super easy and such a sweet girl. We even had me clipping while sitting on her - footage I’m saving for a rainy day😂😇🖤
As usual I used my trusty Black Beautys & Harmony Plus!

Fully clip out an unbroken 3yr old stallion? ✅
Gorgeous big baby Blake was a total champ today for his clip! It felt like it took me AGES because his coat was so crazy thick - honestly, thickest coat I have ever seen - and he is such a big boy.
Blake has never been clipped, never had a twitch on, never had his mane or tail pulled, and is an unbacked, super green baby. He was fab. No issues at all over his entire body, all up between his back legs and behind his ears. We did a full make over for him.
Full clip, mane pull and trim and a tail pull. Such a lovely day at the beautiful White Lodge Stud🤍

Lulu is such an easy horse to clip, he stands perfectly still and loves the attention 🥰
He can be a little sensitive for his ears, but I haven’t had to take the twitch out yet or use anything other than a little patience 🖤

Wilson did NOT want to be clipped today😂😂😂
Luckily he responded very well to the twitch and we were able to get it done without any fuss with it on! We did a VERY high chaser today, preparing for our next clip which we are going to attempt to get even more off his body and potentially his face. Considering how much better he was once the twitch was applied, I’m very optimistic 😂😇🥲

Poor Randy has had someone in his past be not particularly nice to him, and so he is TERRIFIED of being clipped.
We did a nice quick chaser clip, and gave him a little sleepy juice to take the edge off. I spent some time with this little man teaching him that not everyone is going to hurt him, and by the end of the clip he was relaxed and fully trusted me to get the job done. We also added a heart for his little jockey once he was fully chilled and was happy for me to walk all around him with the clippers on. Clever pony 🤎

Before and After mane pulling and trimming >>>>
This lovely boy’s mane was incredibly thick after years of blunt cutting, and it also lay on the left hand side.
I pulled his mane to thin it, while also pulling to to the right side, gave it a quick trim and took some lovely photos in the sunshine before plaiting it over to train it to lay on the correct side.

Everyones shouting already it's too cold to bath...

1)It's still double figures.

2)The rain is not warm when it falls from the sky.

3)Dirty horses damage clippers.

4)Dirty horses blunt blades.

5)The blades can then snag and cause your horse discomfort or even pain.

6) hot clothing a clipped horse works great and really lifts the grease, but hot clothing a hairy horse will only wipe the surface clean and compress the dirt and grease underneath making it even tougher to get through.

7) I'll have to charge you extra for wrecking my equipment 🤷

8) please don't cover your horse in any magical ore clip oils or no rinse washes.

9) does nobody remember how to walk a horse round and thatch it so it stays warm til it's dry?

Busy busy busy over here at today!!
Can’t quite believe how many horses I booked in for one day at 3 different yards😂😂
2 Irish/Chaser Clips for Ozzy and Truly, a Hunter Clip for biggest horse of the day Jackson, another Irish/Chaser for nervous girl Gracie (who lost her patience with me in the end and her mum will be finishing off her face at a later date😂)… First time clip, a quick Bib/Strip for small but mighty Milo, and finally to finishing off the day a Full Clip for little blue eyed Jerry!

Sweet Andre had a full clip yesterday🤍
Super star boy only needed the twitch for his ears, and we got the rest of the clip done without an issue.
Special thanks to super groom for giving Andre a good old scrub and earlier in the day which made for the perfect, line free clip.
Post clip I gave him a hot cloth with the oil for the shiniest of finishes ✨🤍

Wilson had his second ever clip with me tonight and he was so good! Last time he wasn’t too pleased with being clipped and we did have some issues last time…. But this time he was very good! We got a half face off which we didn’t last time, and much further under his belly! Think he hated me a bit less this time 🤞🏼😂

Full Clip & Saddle Patch for Frankie B🧡
The hardest part of this clip was getting the photos afterwards😂
Frankie isn’t great for his legs, so a little sleepy juice and he was happy enough for me to use my trusty Harmony Plus do fully clip his legs off before moving onto his body with my Black Beauty!
