What a brilliant week it's been weather wise. Chilly, frosty ❄️ and minimal drizzle 🌧. We even got some sunshine 🌞 this morning ❤️.
All our visitors 🐕 have had fun this week and have gone home tired but happy.

The puppies are all doing really well at training. Congratulations to Lillie and Bess who passed their Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Bronze Award tonight as did Brandy and myself.
Congratulations also go to Stephanie and Charlie plus Belinda and Star. All four are now going on to the Silver course. Unfortunately a couple weren't able to do theirs this weekend but🤞 for some more results soon.
Well done to all 💕🐾 ###

What a fantastic day we have had at Minehead and District Open show.
Our second show with the puppies and Brandy won the Puppy class and Bess and Lillie took second place.
Lillie then took Brandy in for the Best of Breed and won Best Puppy.
We then had to stay to the end of the show to go in the Gundog Puppy Group (11 class winners so we didn't expect to get anywhere) and they only went and got placed 4th in the group.
Lillie then decided she was on a roll so they went into Any Variety Gundog puppy and unbelievably got 2nd! Well done Lillie and Brandy 👏👏👏. What a day! Two very tired puppies and so am I 😴🐾💕 ###x

In October 2017 Inch and Emma found two tiny little kittens hidden in the haystack that had been abandoned by their mother. They brought them home and Pickle took over as a surrogate mother and we bottle fed them every 2-3 hours day and night...... roll on 7 years later and they think they own the place lol 😂 💕🐾 ###

What started off as an OK morning with a little drizzle ☁️ has become a wet 🌧 afternoon. Nevertheless the dogs 🐕 don't seem to mind. They all had good fun down the 🌳 wood🌲 exploring the undergrowth and searching for hidden treats and toys. Good fun had by all 💕🐾###

The puppies had there first official 'off lead' walk this morning although they both had training leads attached so I could make sure they behaved and couldn't run riot! Needless to say they had tremendous fun 💕🐾 ###

Another busy day. Dogs toileted and fed first thing, first load of washing on, downstairs hoovered and all floors washed before we set off for the yard.
It was quite chilly, brrrr, this morning so decided it was time to cast off the shorts and get back into my old faithful jeans. I was trying to last until my holiday but failed miserably lol 😆.
We spent over 2 hours down the 🌳wood🌲and all the 🐕 dogs had fun with lots of free running, exploring and searching for hidden treats.
We came 🏡 home and put on another load of washing before Poppy's mum came to pick her up and we stopped for lunch.
After lunch and putting on another load of washing I picked up Lillie and we set off to Millets with the puppies and Harper.
We walked down to the wooded area and did some training especially heelwork, stand-down-sit-stand, sit and wait followed by recall and a one minute down stay.... lt's great to practice their exercises in a different area and the puppies both did so well.
After that we went for a break in the cafe and the dogs settled down with a chew each, whilst we had a drink. We then had a look around the pet shop department before returning home 🐾💕 ###

Another very wet morning starting with thunderstorms ⛈️ and torrential 🌧 rain. I got completely soaked before I even left the house and that was just clearing the garden!
The dogs 🐕 had a really good run around down the 🌳wood🌲and enjoyed lots of search games, sniffathons and exploration.
We then came home to dry off just in time for the chimney sweep to arrive.
After lunch we all went back down the wood picking up Lillie on the way. Lillie and I then spent time training the puppies when Lillie spotted that the pigs were out down the bottom. We left the puppies with Reggie and went down and put Mabel and Izzy back in only to get back to the yard and see them push up the fence where they'd broken off the post and come back out, this time bringing little Grace with them 🙈🤭😂💕🐾 ###

What a miserable day 🌧. Fortunately the dogs were walked before the heavens 🌧 opened and it started to come down.
We stayed out in it for as long as we could before we were soaked through and then spent the rest of the day dodging the rain to get the dogs out for wee breaks 🐾💕 ###
