Oh my goodness what a day we've had. After driving through high winds and torrential rain 🌧we arrived at Coventry Ladies Kennel Assn show.
It was very crowded and so many people there that the carpark was full and they were parking cars on the field. We were lucky to get one of the last places.
Neither Brandy or Bess were placed in Puppy but Brandy and Lillie won a very respectable VHC in Junior. Brandy was clearly not feeling herself today.
Lillie and Bess then went in Young Handlers and although they didn't get placed they did so well having to do lots of different exercises that they had never tried to do before.
A very hectic but lovely day 🐾💕 ###

Today was the last day before Xmas for our day dogs and what a great day we have had. After our first walk of the day we trained the puppies, followed by a trip to the vet for Pickle's monthly painkilling injection then after lunch we had another trip down the wood for a good run around. We should all sleep well tonight.

OMG 😲 we've had the most amazing day. We have just got home. We were up before 4am and on the road at 5am to travel to Staffordshire showground for LKA Championship show.
We didn't expect anything because of the huge entries and thought it would be a good practice.
Lillie started the day off by coming 4th in Junior handling in the main arena, which was unbelievably fantastic!
We then went into our labrador classes. We were unplaced in Minor puppy although Brandy got through to the final lineup. Then Lillie took her in Puppy bitch (15 entries) and only came 3rd!, thereby qualifying for CRUFTS! Well done Lillie 💕.
Thank you very much to her sister Connie who came along to help us. She was our lucky mascot!
To say we are over the moon is an understatement. Thrilled to bits 🥰🐾❤️ ###

Ned and I had a lovely trip out to Bampton garden centre to get a Xmas tree this morning. He was such a good boy. We then came home just in time for him to help Inch make his lunch 😂🥰 🐾🐕💕 ###

Today we went to Coventry & District Gundog Society show. A lot of labradors there but the girls did us proud. Sadly Bess didn't win a prize today but she behaved impeccably. She's such a little star 🌟.
Brandy was VHC in Puppy and Lillie and Brandy were 4th in Junior and then Lillie won 12-16 years Junior handling with Brandy xx

What another fantastic day we have had. We have recently returned home (6pm) after a very long day.... Up at 4.30am leaving at 6am for a 2.5 hour drive to Guildford & District Canine Society show.
Brandy and Bess excelled again. Brandy was 2nd in Puppy and Bess 3rd. Lillie then took Brandy in Junior and they came 4th!
Lillie and Brandy then went in a huge Special Beginner's class (81 entered) but around 47 in the actual class. They weren't placed but what an experience and Brandy behaved impeccably.
Finally Lillie and Brandy went in Young Handlers and came 5th out of 14 on their first attempt. Brilliant 🐾💕 ###

Another very cold 🥶 frosty -1*C morning. The dogs and I all had a great time down the🌲wood 🌳this morning before returning home to the warmth of a nice fire 🔥.
Lots of fun was had searching for hidden treats, chasing each other around, exploring the undergrowth and even rolling in the frosty❄️ grass 🙈.

What great fun we've all had down the 🌳wood🌲in the 🌨 snow ❄️ this morning. It was 3*C but didn't feel cold.
The 🐕 dogs had a fantastic time chasing around in the snow and searching for hidden toys, balls and treats.
Hector 🫏 said "thanks for putting his winter coat on but he's not coming out until it stops" lol 😆!
We're now back home in the dry and Inch has got the 🔥 fire going which Monty is in agreement with and has taken his bone to sit in the warm 💕🐾 ###

What a brilliant week it's been weather wise. Chilly, frosty ❄️ and minimal drizzle 🌧. We even got some sunshine 🌞 this morning ❤️.
All our visitors 🐕 have had fun this week and have gone home tired but happy.

The puppies are all doing really well at training. Congratulations to Lillie and Bess who passed their Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Bronze Award tonight as did Brandy and myself.
Congratulations also go to Stephanie and Charlie plus Belinda and Star. All four are now going on to the Silver course. Unfortunately a couple weren't able to do theirs this weekend but🤞 for some more results soon.
Well done to all 💕🐾 ###

What a fantastic day we have had at Minehead and District Open show.
Our second show with the puppies and Brandy won the Puppy class and Bess and Lillie took second place.
Lillie then took Brandy in for the Best of Breed and won Best Puppy.
We then had to stay to the end of the show to go in the Gundog Puppy Group (11 class winners so we didn't expect to get anywhere) and they only went and got placed 4th in the group.
Lillie then decided she was on a roll so they went into Any Variety Gundog puppy and unbelievably got 2nd! Well done Lillie and Brandy 👏👏👏. What a day! Two very tired puppies and so am I 😴🐾💕 ###x

In October 2017 Inch and Emma found two tiny little kittens hidden in the haystack that had been abandoned by their mother. They brought them home and Pickle took over as a surrogate mother and we bottle fed them every 2-3 hours day and night...... roll on 7 years later and they think they own the place lol 😂 💕🐾 ###
