How are you all getting on in this heat?
We've been going down the🌲wood 🌳very early in the morning where it is lovely and cool under the trees and then returning home to the air-conditioning, which so far is managing to keep the kitchen & utility around 21C and lounge 23C when it was over 33C in the garden. Needless to say the dogs 🐕 just had quick garden visits and back inside!
This morning we gave Hector 🫏 a much needed bath although he was not amused and dragged Emma and I around the corral when we washed his face 🙈😂🫏💕🐾 ###

We have just returned from a lovely day at the Royal Windsor Championship Dog show.
The girls did extremely well with both of them qualifying for the Young Handlers semi finals.
Lillie and Brandy won first place with Connie and Bess hot on their heels to take second place.
We didn't have any places in the large breed classes today but they both performed really well despite the warm weather and luckily we were inside the marquee during the thunderstorm 💕🐾 ###

It's going to be very hot 🔥 in the UK over the next few days. Please don't walk your dog in these temperatures 🥵.
No dog ever died from missing a walk but many have from heatstroke 😪.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that both Bess and Brandy passed their Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Gold Award this evening.
Lillie did so well handling Bess and got 10 out of 10 for her dog responsibility general knowledge questions which was brilliant. Well done Lillie 👏 👏👏.
All in all a very successful evening 💕🐾 ###

Oh my goodness what can I say. Connie and I have had a fantastic day at Taunton & District Canine Assn show.
We had an early start, up at 4.30am and left at 6.15am. On arrival Connie was first in the ring with Bess in Junior handling and won a fabulous 2nd place which started us off on a roll!
We then had to wait a while for our labrador classes to start.
Brandy and I won a decent Graduate class with Cherry taking 4th and Connie and Bess 5th.
Connie then won the limit class with Brandy and Cherry and I came second.
Connie and Brandy then came second in a good Open class.
I can't believe we did so well. It was well worth the journey 💕🐾 ###

After a quick trip to Focus Referrals, the Eye specialist veterinary surgeons in Banbury, I am very pleased to announce that both Bess & Brandy passed their official BVA eye tests this morning 💕🐾 ###

We have just returned from a fantastic day out at Three Counties Agricultural Society Championship show with the puppies.
The girls both worked really hard and tried their hearts out but they were up against stiff competition in large classes. No prizes today for our pups but we had a great time and a lot of fun.
Lillie handled Dandy for Susan and came 3rd thereby qualifying him for Crufts again.
Connie handled Bess like a pro and did really well.
Thank you all for such an enjoyable day out 🐾💕 ###
