We enjoyed two good walks this morning although it was very wet underfoot, thank goodness for wellies and waterproofs. Thankfully we only had a bit of drizzle 🌧 and it didn't last for long.
The 🐕 dogs didn't worry though and were more than happy to get plastered which meant yet more towel washing when we got home.
The dogs had great fun playing, searching for toys amongst the🌳 trees🌲and exploring interesting sniffs.
Another walk this afternoon then a vet visit for darling Pickle for her monthly librela injection before returning home to light the fire 🔥 at 4pm. Now to sit and put my feet up for a minute or two 💕🐾 ###

Lillie and I braved the weather and drove to Merthyr Tydfil at the crack of dawn (well actually well before the crack of dawn!) for Cardiff Open show.
The weather was horrendous, but it was worth it. Lillie and Brandy were 3rd in Puppy and 3rd in Junior.
They have now qualified for the Welsh Puppy of the Year and Welsh Junior of the Year.
We took Cherry with us for her first show (at nearly 7!). She was worried to death as she didn't know what she had to do but such a good girl. Lillie and her won 4th in Post Graduate and 4th in Open 🐾💕 ###

What another beautiful 🥶 frosty morning. We've had lovely dry but icy ❄️ weather all week which means the dogs 🐕 have had great fun down the🌲 wood 🌳 without getting plastered in mud!
I love days like this as you can wrap up nice and warm and still have an enjoyable walk. I just hate getting soaked through when it rains. I'm not looking forward to the thaw 🙈.

Oh my goodness what a day we've had. After driving through high winds and torrential rain 🌧we arrived at Coventry Ladies Kennel Assn show.
It was very crowded and so many people there that the carpark was full and they were parking cars on the field. We were lucky to get one of the last places.
Neither Brandy or Bess were placed in Puppy but Brandy and Lillie won a very respectable VHC in Junior. Brandy was clearly not feeling herself today.
Lillie and Bess then went in Young Handlers and although they didn't get placed they did so well having to do lots of different exercises that they had never tried to do before.
A very hectic but lovely day 🐾💕 ###

Today was the last day before Xmas for our day dogs and what a great day we have had. After our first walk of the day we trained the puppies, followed by a trip to the vet for Pickle's monthly painkilling injection then after lunch we had another trip down the wood for a good run around. We should all sleep well tonight.

OMG 😲 we've had the most amazing day. We have just got home. We were up before 4am and on the road at 5am to travel to Staffordshire showground for LKA Championship show.
We didn't expect anything because of the huge entries and thought it would be a good practice.
Lillie started the day off by coming 4th in Junior handling in the main arena, which was unbelievably fantastic!
We then went into our labrador classes. We were unplaced in Minor puppy although Brandy got through to the final lineup. Then Lillie took her in Puppy bitch (15 entries) and only came 3rd!, thereby qualifying for CRUFTS! Well done Lillie 💕.
Thank you very much to her sister Connie who came along to help us. She was our lucky mascot!
To say we are over the moon is an understatement. Thrilled to bits 🥰🐾❤️ ###

Today we went to Coventry & District Gundog Society show. A lot of labradors there but the girls did us proud. Sadly Bess didn't win a prize today but she behaved impeccably. She's such a little star 🌟.
Brandy was VHC in Puppy and Lillie and Brandy were 4th in Junior and then Lillie won 12-16 years Junior handling with Brandy xx

What another fantastic day we have had. We have recently returned home (6pm) after a very long day.... Up at 4.30am leaving at 6am for a 2.5 hour drive to Guildford & District Canine Society show.
Brandy and Bess excelled again. Brandy was 2nd in Puppy and Bess 3rd. Lillie then took Brandy in Junior and they came 4th!
Lillie and Brandy then went in a huge Special Beginner's class (81 entered) but around 47 in the actual class. They weren't placed but what an experience and Brandy behaved impeccably.
Finally Lillie and Brandy went in Young Handlers and came 5th out of 14 on their first attempt. Brilliant 🐾💕 ###
