We have been able to sent over some finance via the Western Union during Covid 19. Cherry and Rosie's food has arrived. Besides the packages of dog food the family of Khin Ma Ma cooks them rice with fresh fish and vegetables everyday. I think these two girls have landed on their feet and both Mervyn and I are so happy that we found a home for these at the time dying little pups. The family even puts cooling cream on their little gorgeous faces!

Cherry and Rosie are now about 7 months old, not long before they could come into season. The vet decided it was too early to neuter them so gave them an injection which will delay they first season and prevent unwanted pregnancies!

Have not updated you for a while but like at the little girls now. They are healthy strong young ladies now. They love their new bed too!

Update on the pups. From the video you will see how these pups have grown into young ladies. Today the vet will visit them to see if the time has come to have them neutered. It is really heart-warming to see these dogs so big and healthy remembering the time when we found them at like 5 weeks old when they were close to dead.

The girls are getting larger. Although they live with a lovely family they like to visit neighbours to ask for food!

Update on the pup. The vet went to see the little one. The bone was not broken but the pup has a deformity. Despite that the pup walks alright. The vet gave the pup a good check-up!

Dear All, we have just heard from another Pup in need in Ngapali. Yesterday a German tourist contacted me about a little pup with a broken leg. The vet is looking at the pup today but I do not have any updates yet. See the photo of this lovely little pup.

It makes me so happy to know that these 2 girls who we saved from a certain death are now beloved pets of wonderful people in Myanmar. Here are the 2 little sister on the beach. Their 1st time and look how they enjoy the sun. Relax and sleep!

Today we received a video of our little girls Ngapali and Ngapala. They are looking so happy and befriended the resident old dog. It's great to see this gentle old giant being kind to them since they were bitten all the time by other street dogs.

I am so grateful to the local vet Kaugn Myat Thu, Khin Ma Ma and her family for looking after these puppies so well.

Yesterday a parcel we sent on the 27th from Yangon arrived in Ngapali. Powdered milk and sachets of puppy food for the little girls Ngapali and Ngapala. The milk will help them put on weight and will replace their mother's milk. According to the vet they are around 6 weeks old.
