Boris is a striking, big-framed Thoroughbred with a huge presence and a genuinely kind way of going under saddle. Standing at 17.1hh, he is a beautiful, straightforward ride with no ridden vices, and it’s easy to understand why he has always held a very special place in his racing owner’s heart.

In the stable, Boris can be a little grumpy and stressy, particularly around feeding times, where he can show some food possessiveness. This behaviour stems from earlier-life stable anxieties before coming to his current owner. Orion

Super safe • Clean • Sound 💕

Orion is a striking, quality Thoroughbred with a wonderful temperament who is now ready to move on from racing and start a new chapter. Standing at 16.3hh, he is a lovely big model with presence, movement, and an incredibly easy, relaxed outlook on life.

He has point-to-pointed and run once on the track, making him ROR eligible. His last run was about 2 months ago in a flat race with an amateur jockey, and while he tried his best, it’s clear that racing simply isn’t his calling.

Orion’s calm, easy-going nature will make him a dream to retrain. He is a genuine all-rounder who could turn his hoof to almost anything. He’s very good to jump and would make an excellent hunting prospect. He’s also a fabulous mover with eye-catching looks, meaning he would stand out beautifully in the show ring this spring and summer. He is very well bred and truly a quality horse.

To handle, Orion is a complete gentleman. He is good to load, shoe, and travel, happily travelling in both a lorry and a trailer. He hacks alone or in company, is well used to traffic, and is often chosen to lead breakers and sharper horses as he remains unfazed by their behaviour.

The only small thing to note is that he has occasionally been seen to windsuck in the stable. He does not grab onto anything — he simply rests his chin partway down the door and takes in a little air. He does not windsuck at all when turned out, and a windsucking collar completely prevents the behaviour in the stable. This has no impact on his health; he has been scoped clear for ulcers and maintains an excellent appetite for both feed and hay.

Orion is a clean, sound horse with a fantastic temperament and huge potential for someone looking for a safe, quality horse to enjoy and bring on.

Chancellor is a truly stunning Thoroughbred with a solid, chunky build and a reassuring “hoof in each corner” presence. He is the sort of horse that makes you feel safe and relaxed the moment you sit on him.

He sustained a minor tendon injury to his off-fore last year in March, from which he has fully recovered. Chancellor is sound, healthy, in ridden work, and is enjoying some hunting this season and XC. He has taken everything in his stride and continues to show what a genuine, reliable horse he is.

Chancellor is exceptionally kind and sweet — a real gentleman in every sense. He is easy to handle in all aspects, straightforward to ride, and completely uncomplicated. He is safe, sensible, and a pleasure to have around.

He is good for the farrier and has no vices. When travelling, he simply prefers a larger, more spacious trailer rather than a tight fit, which is something to be mindful of.

Standing at 15.1hh, Blaze is a clean, correct type — completely sound, with no lumps, bumps, or issues. He’s a real sweetheart, gentle and kind in temperament, and loves attention, fuss, and cuddles. As a foal, he was showered with love, and that affectionate nature has stayed with him — he’ll often nuzzle over your shoulder for a hug, proving he’s more pony in heart than a racehorse!

Currently, Blaze is living out happily with his friends. His only little quirk is a cheeky habit of wriggling under a chained stable door — but that playful personality only adds to his charm.

Justin is a beautiful, kind-souled Thoroughbred who is now looking for a calm, understanding forever home where he can truly settle and be appreciated.

After a busy chapter in his life, Justin is currently enjoying some well-deserved downtime, living out and gently regaining condition.

This break has been invaluable for him, allowing both his body and mind to reset before moving on to his next partnership. He will be sold from the field and is now back with his owner until the right home is found.

On the ground, Justin is an absolute joy to have around. He is polite, easy to catch, and well mannered in the stable. He genuinely enjoys human company and thrives on fuss and affection — he’s the kind of horse that forms real bonds and makes you smile just by being there.

Under saddle, Justin has plenty to offer but will need a confident, experienced rider to help guide him. When hacking alone he can sometimes feel unsure and may nap, but this comes from hesitation rather than malice. In company, he is a different horse — relaxed, sensible, and very well behaved. With patience, consistency, and reassurance, he will continue to grow in confidence.

He can be a little hesitant loading when travelling on his own, but travels happily with another horse and responds well to calm, quiet handling. He is currently unshod while living out, is good for the farrier when trimming, and is never difficult. When being shod, he does require a small amount of sedaline.

Justin is a talented jumper with a very good technique and shows exciting potential for someone looking for a rewarding project. In the right hands, he could go on to enjoy a variety of disciplines or simply be a fun, progressive riding horse.

He is happy living out year-round with appropriate rugging, is sociable in the field, and settles well into his routine. What Justin needs most now is a knowledgeable, compassionate home that will take the time to let him flourish at his own pace.

Justin is not suitable for a novice, but for a capable rider looking for a genuine horse with a soft heart and lots of untapped potential, he could become a truly special partner.

As our Thoroughbreds come to the end of their racing careers, finding them the right homes beyond the track is something we take very seriously. 💕

We’ve put together a Dropbox folder where you can view photos and videos of each horse currently available for rehoming.

📁 The folder is updated weekly as horses retire from racing, so please feel free to check back regularly.

These horses have been part of our journey — they’re individuals, not just names on a page. Knowing where they go and who they go to truly matters, and our goal is for every horse to move on to a home where they are understood, appreciated, and given time to settle into their new life.
