Last day with this one 👇 Ellie Mumby has been a fabulous sidekick, but now she’s off to smash a job with the RSPCA. I’m sure we will see her around again.

I know we will all miss her smiling face. Join me in wishing her all the luck in the world with her new job……… Now could I find someone to replace her???? 🤔

The best season to train a dog is Autumn. Why? you ask.

It’s not too hot 🔥

There’s more cover on the ground for opportunities to hunt or scent 🍁

Usually people are at home, getting into a routine, not going off on holiday and so have more time to think about what needs working on with their dog 🐕

BUT

The negative side of Autimn, is that we have to start getting our dogs used to loud noises, it’s firework and shoot season. Be thoughtful and start desensitising your dogs.

Its the small things in life 👇

5 years ago I bought some Dedito Boots they are still going strong, but after 5 shoot seasons and many brambles the laces where a little worse for wear.

So this year at Chatsworth House bought some new ones when we went to the fair.

I absolutely love this pop of colour. I hope these last 5 years and my boots do another 5 years! If they do they will have been a right good buy!

I can’t recommend these boots enough to people, they are sturdy and comfortable. If they don’t last another 5 years I’ll definately buy another pair, they are on my feet every day from autumn through to spring.

If you’re looking for a good solid well priced pair of boots, these are epic!
