What is cold-pressed dog food?

Cold-pressed dog food is made using a process that involves pressing ingredients, like fresh meat and fish, together at low temperatures. This method differs from the traditional extrusion process used in most commercial dog foods, where ingredients are cooked.

Because the food isn't exposed to high temperatures, more of the natural nutritional content is retained. Cold-pressed dog food is also often easier for dogs to digest. The food typically breaks down more slowly in the stomach, which has a number of long-term benefits.

Looking to stock DARF in your UK pet shop? Sabre Wholesale are now the official UK distributor of DARF Pet Food to the UK pet trade.

We have the Complete Dry Dog Food – Regular (available in 4kg and 20kg bags), which is made up of 60% chicken, beef, lamb, and goat meat. The food is cold-pressed, rich in nutrients, and 100% natural.

As well as the Regular option, we have the Lamb Complete Dry Food, which is available in 4kg and 14kg bags. The food boasts all of the same benefits as the Regular food, but contains only 60% fresh lamb, making it a great choice for dogs who are sensitive to chicken.

Up next, we have the Salmon Complete Dry Food. The Salmon food is also available in 4kg and 12kg bags and contains 60% fresh salmon and lamb. Another great choice for adult dogs!
