15.2hh 17yrs bay gelding, don’t let his age put you off he has very low mileage.

Rocky has been in the same home for 10years now, he unfortunately is too much horse for the current owner. Rocky requires a firm yet sympathetic rider, good to do in all ways on the ground clip, vet, teeth, feet (currently barefoot and doing well).
Pros:
*He has a mouth like butter
*3 lovely balanced paces, he hasn’t jumped for a couple years however more than capable.
*Very easy to do, good dooer, easy and respectful in the ground
*Stands to be tacked up
*Will load into anything, has recently travelled perfectly in my 7.5t wagon and is trailered at home.
*Will do, and has done, a lovely dressage test

Cons:
*Rocky seeks confidence from his rider as he does nap, he is not nasty and once ridden forwards he is fine
*He can be ground shy, again nothing nasty.

Hello again ♥️

Thank you all for your patience and support this last 3 months, treatment has been going very well and I’ve come to the conclusion that I simply cannot be away from clipping any longer I just LOVE it too much!!

So as of today I am back clipping full swing 💚

Beautiful Freddie had a full clip and blend, his 4th time clipping and he had a full head off standing absolutely perfectly, doesn’t he just look handsome? 🥰

I’m so happy to be back, I can’t wait to see you all again ♥️

I never thought at 28 I’d be going through a chemical menopause but here we are, I am under investigation for pre-menstrual dystonic disorder which in turn is severe PMS symptoms, I will be under a trial of monthly injections and daily tablets to nearly stop the production of hormones and see if this helps symptoms. Due to processing this and seeing how treatment goes all clipping will be cancelled until further notice, my books are closed from the immediate until further notice. I deeply apologise for the inconvenience caused in the run up, I’ve been struggling a lot recently coming to terms with it and unfortunately buried my head. I know many women are absolutely fine with this and many women function absolutely normal but this is completely new to me and I’d like to take the time to rest and do this properly. I deeply apologise x

I'm absolutely p**s poor at posting i know 🤦‍♀️ I've been so busy with work and clipping it's been amazing!

Whilst we are moving through to spring weather horses will be maulting and their summer coats coming through, clipping now will not effect their coat contrary to popular myth the coat is a continually growing and shedding cycle, many horses including my own are clipped all year round to allow for welfare within the warmer months, from cushings to managing advanced work load.

Please remember those with CPL (chronic progressive lymphodemia) will need to be kept on top of for management reasons

I am here all year round and also have competition packages including everything from bathing to plaiting and tack/ boot cleaning and even lorry packing. These spots are limited so please book in advance as they do go very fast and when I'm eventing myself I need to plan!

This summer I will be holding clinics at various locations for confidence building with various different disciplines and beach days suitable for all ♥️

I'm always here for any help at all, just drop me a message and I'll reply back ASAP!

Stolen picture but its good! My "annual leave" hasn't been very restful, I've been pretty much none stop with clipping and it's been bloody brilliant I've loved every minute. Unfortunately sid has been on box rest due to mud fever so I've not had much of a rest but from tonight till Tuesday I've got nothing (okay okay maybe 1 clip and blend booked in but shush) absolutely nothing planned and I can't wait to mong at home for a day around doing the boys 🥰😍 PASS ME THE RUM!

As we near onto another year to end, another year to start we all struggle to some degree with this time of year.

The months of build up for 24hrs that is Christmas has passed, the Christmas blues is well set in and we all realise we're skint and to top it off it's peak time for SADs (seasonal affective disorder). It can be such a hard and daunting time for anybody, especially those who live with mental illness to any degree.

We are nearing the worst month for su***de within the year, a combination of the above and individual factors all plays a part, but this year doesn't have to be like all the other years.

We all look to make harsh new years resolutions, "I will lose 5st!", "I will save £5k!" But the main resolution has to be to be kind to yourself, to allocate time to yourself, to do what you enjoy and what you love, to not tolerate disrespect from anybody whether that be at work, family, relationships. No means NO.

The stigma around mental health lingers but is thankfully being challenged and removed. There are so many reasons to stay present in this world, the main one is within your chest.

Please, if anybody feels the need to speak to anybody, whether it be for a rant, general company, for support, absolutely anything you must reach out.

I am always here for anybody, whether we know each other or not, please just message me and I will always be here.

Let's have a progressive and positive new year, what are your new years resolutions? Mine are to have more time for myself and to be kinder.

Mental health has always been a huge battle for me, and I see the effects of poor mental health everyday when in work, I just wanted to remind everybody that all the pain and darkness is temporary. If anybody ever needs a shoulder I'm always here, no matter what time, I'll always be here 💚

Last week I clipped this chappy with covercoat with blended legs, this weekend at stars it appears he and his rider haven't left any rosettes behind 😍 I think we can all agree they both look insane ♥️

We had an exciting weekend, fun ride after clips on the Saturday and 80 acres at Somerford Park Farm 01260299888 on the Sunday for schooling, a weekend filled with hedges is never a bad one in our books!!
